Donald Trump enters the White House on Friday just as he entered the race for president: defiant, unfiltered, unbound by tradition and utterly confident in his chosen course.
In the 10 weeks since his surprise election as the nations 45th president, Trump has violated decades of established diplomatic protocol, sent shockwaves through business boardrooms, tested long-standing ethics rules and continued his combative style of replying to any slight with a personal attack on Twitter and in person.
Past presidents have described walking into the Oval Office for the first time as a humbling experience, one that in an instant makes clear the weight of their new role as caretaker of American democracy. Trump spent much of his transition making clear he sees things differently: Rather than change for the office, he argues, the office will change for him.

Funny that 8 years ago, change for the sake of change and nothing else was a good thing. Now even if there’s a good reason, it’s bad.
Perhaps, but the current yahoo was so humbled he went in and put his feet up on the desk.
Rather than change for the office, he argues, the office will change for him. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Allahwahoo Whackbar on A.P. !
The Donald is actually clearing out the office and bringing it back to qa Constitutionally run office.
Obama turned the office into a garbarator of community organizing, plausible deniability intrigue and out right lies from Obama the Keep Your Doctor, Rice the Movienator and Jarrette the Iranian Mullah-ette.
Not the Donald. He will be working in that office 20 hours a day. I hope he brings back the bust of Churchill which had formerly been on loan from the British Embassy in Washington.Obama returned it on his first week in office, indicating that he would not kow tow to the “colonial “ powers, in fact genuflecting to the field hand mentality of the Democrat Black Caucus. Where did that get him? Nowhere.
Churchill would have labelled Obama for the utopian liberal fascist that he truly is.
No more fascism.
Now we will have populism, even contrary to the elite of the GOP.
Trump therefore is likely one of a kind.
I am beginning to love the guy.

Some things never do change.
Fish gotta' swim.
Birds gotta' fly.
Liberals gotta' whimper and whine.
AP(ee Pee) sure is having a difficult time dealing with reality these days.
The AP would describe motherhood as some evil plot if it served their purposes.
What a vile sick twisted puddle of goo the AP has melted down into.
But Trump responding to personal attacks is "Combative".
Whatever. More fake news.
Great deconstruction.....lots of high points.
To a Progressive, this may be the worst of Trump's 'sins'. They don't like confident people who can make quick, solid decisions based on their values. The Progressives hate absolute values, preferring ambiguity, so they can hide their sick sins and moral crimes.
$1 salary
The so-called Associated Press is a propaganda organ for the left.
Already requested and approved - Might be in the Oval Office on day one - ;)
“tested long-standing ethics rules “
That was Hitlery and her selling her SoS office.
We must truthfully deconstruct until the last whimpering Obama utopian liberal fascist slides down the gullet of the waste bin of history.
The vast barrage of propaganda from the MSM is composted odoriferous swill upon the now awakened ear of the American public.
No one is listening except those who have a natural bent to become victims, who will follow anyone, including a supposedly cool psychopomp, utopian liberal fascist.
Didn’t Bubba, Blowinksi, the Toe Sucker and an unnamed bimbo have quadraphonic hump-ex in the Oral Office?
Thanks my FRiend. I was hoping that the Churchillian view of history might return to the White House, for iot allowed the rebuilding of Germany and Japan post WWII.
Now we will rebuild ourselves. Cheers!
Cr@p like this reminds me why I support Trump.
Great post! Thanks!
