Soon after his inauguration next month, President-elect Donald Trump will nominate someone to the Supreme Court, which has been hamstrung by a vacancy since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia in February. There will be public debates about the nominees credentials, past record, judicial philosophy and temperament. There will be Senate hearings and a vote.
No matter how it plays out, Americans must remember one thing above all: The person who gets confirmed will sit in a stolen seat.
It was stolen from Barack Obama, a twice-elected president who fulfilled his constitutional duty more than nine months ago by nominating Merrick Garland, a highly qualified and widely respected federal appellate judge.

I am happy to see the New York Times stewing over this. With any b luck they will be stewing their way through the next 8 years and beyond into total bankruptcy. They are an organization of liars and freaks.
One things for certain. If the New York Times is losing freedom loving American People are winning! Merry Christmas!
Hey NYT:
Yes, something was stolen.
Has the FEB 9 PODESTA: it is going to be a bad nite, double up and buckle down, I didnt know wet works meant pool parties at the vineyard email been investigated by NYT yet?
Merry Christmas everyone!
Does my heart a world of good to wake up on Christmas morn, and see the New York Times going so apoplectic! Merry Christmas!
Gowdy has a 100% ACU voting record.
Totalitarian thugs.
Yes, the seat was likely stolen when Justice Scalia was murdered by some leftist.
Tough, Democrats! A Republican gets to fill the seat.
Dear whiny snowflakes, to quote zero “WE WON, Get over it.

All of the public evidence certainly points to foul play.
I have no doubt obamatollah wanted Scalia dead and gave his approval knowing it would provide him an opportunity to add another leftwing marxist to SCOTUS to further his "fundamental transformation" of America to socialism/communism.
I was waiting for her...
“Stollen Supreme Court seat.”
It that anything like a “Swollen” SC seat? Kagin and Solodenor (SP?...who cares) come to mind.
NYT go stick it where thelight doesn’t shine.
As if the Slimes wouldn’t be cheering a Democrat congress that did the same thing to a Republican President?
Eat not **** and choke all you filthy progressives in the DNC and media!
Has anyone ever heard of a more suspicious death than Scalia’s? That story would not be believable enough for a movie script. Sure, the seat was stolen. From Scalia.
So much whining! Oh, sorry, I meant winning.
If a Democratic Senate had blocked a conservative Republican President from appointing a conservative to the Supreme Court the editorial would be about the courage and f the Democrats to preserve the institution of the Supreme Court!
Didn’t Bush have to make several nominations for a vacancy when he Senate trashed his initial nominees?
So where where he second or third nominees ?
