After President-elect Donald Trump's stunning victory in November, Joe Biden is joining other Democrats pleading the party to refocus its attention on a voting bloc with which they failed to connect in 2016: working-class voters.
In a wide-ranging interview with the Los Angeles Times, Biden said he noticed issues with Hillary Clinton's campaign early in the election. And when Trump seemed to strike a chord with voters a rally near his childhood home in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in October, he became unsettled.
"Son of a gun. We may lose this election," Biden said.

Biden is right, for that reason, I hope the democrats don’t listen to him and continue blaming Russians, fake news, alt-right, and Ouija boards for their embarrassing loss.
Biden trying to get on the right side of history.
Read the article—he fails once again.
When you seen all those rallies, day after day, week after week, and even after the election, how large they were, thousands of ‘Russians’ there holding up signs, yelling, screaming, and laughing together....yeah I would imagine unless your a total idiot, you would get that impression...
Sure Joe.
Good ol Shotgun Joe.
VP Biden is an embicile at the least. Hillary could have lied to the electorate until she was blue in the face and probably did in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan etc. and it wouldn’t/didn’t matter at all. Lies don’t Trump(pun intended)reality here!? Biden is so detached from reality that he has to throw his faulty two cents in here?
Perhaps they should try to -connect with values voters. That would be more productive.
Even Biden would have done better vs Trump. He is at least affable and harder to hate, and has better political instincts.
He will be way too old in 2020 though, as Trump too probably.
The Idiot Biden can see reality sometimes, unlike the true-believers on the left.
Hey Joe, was that before or after you got your
Play Doh stuck in your right nostril?
LOL, in September I posted a link to a National Review article that showed polling that Trump had turned Luzerne County, PA, which is the next county over from Wilkes-Barre, from Obama/Romney +5 in 2012 to Trump/Clinton +20.
That article was written in July. And Democrats far less involved in politics than the VP should have known it.

SloJoe Lives in a perpetual brain fog.
Funny I watched a Trump Rally last June or July, and said, he’s going to be the candidate, and he’s going to win the election.
Why this seemed so impossible to so many people shows you what made up reality they live in.
This is part the war between the Obama/Biden faction of the dimoKKKRAT party and the Clintons as to who will control the party. The war of words is beginning.
Ooh! I love that one.
I believed towards the last few weeks that crowds mattered.
“Data” showed that rallies are negligible in elections.
Not rallies of those sizes. And of that intensity. No way.
Better late to the party than never :)
“Biden is so detached from reality that he has to throw his faulty two cents in here?”..........
When even Biden senses a loss, that should tell you a lot. In this case, he was right.
