Germans in one of Germany's richest cities, Mainz(near Frankfurt), give their opinion on Trump's election.
I was in Germany last summer and met with some family friends who now reside in Mainz, and told them I was voting for Trump and that he would win, they were flabbergasted.
I told them that the American people were sick of the establishment.
I remember stupid Germans marching in the streets against Reagan. That guy was going to start a nuclear war! Russia would invade! It was going to be awful!
And then the Cold War ended and Germany reunited.
Oops.
My German family is aghast that Trump won and they said they will not visit America while he is president. Oh well, I guess every family has snowflakes.

And they promptly gave credit to Gorbachev.
