ok, let’s play this out. We go to war with Russia....over what? What will be the flash point? Alleged hacking of an entity’s email because they failed to use the most basic password protection practices? Next, Bammy institutes martial law...over what? What will be the mitigating factor(s). Who’s going to enforce it...local law enforcement? Federal law enforcement? On a nation of 300+ million people? If we’re at war with Russia, we’ve got bigger issues and problems. Put down the Tom Clancy books.
This is based on a bill that Fauxahontas is putting forth...a bill that will never even get voted on, much less become law.

If anything, I believe the intent of the founding fathers was that holding political office would be a temporary diversion from farming/business, and they would have never even conceived of divesting themselves upon taking office.

It has the potential considering the assassination of the ambassador today in Turkey..ie a heated situation becoming hotter. I hope Trump has been in contact with the Russian government today and advised them to stay cool; that we will resolve world issues together beginning in Jan.
