DALLAS - The Republican elector who has gotten national attention for refusing to vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College on Dec. 19 was apparently not a first responder on September 11, 2001 as he has stated for years and has a questionable career history, according to an investigation by WFAA.

Shades of Khaaaaaaan!
I know. Ashley Madison was bad enough, but lying about being a 911 responder is even worse.
He is a freaking school teacher and like 99% of them, is a worthless POS.
Some claim that there are other places on the big wide web which might welcome your suggestions for violence and murder.
Free Republic is not one of them.
Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.
Everything this guy has done seems to be one big con game. Who paid him to start this crap? The list is short.
The article says they’re not vetted. Though in the future, they might be.
This is the article I read. After reading said, I figured this jerk would be relieved/fired.
I was overwrought at the notion of an election being stolen, after having been won fair and square, by pressuring the 538 electors.
hr is a con artist
“This guy is a fraud. How did he get to be a Republican Elector?”
That’s what I’d like to know. WTF is wrong with the GOP of Texas? The Party chooses the electors.
“He must have gained the trust of local Republican groups. “
Then they must be three sigma out on the stupid side.
just another lying, self promoting attention whore..
This guy started a non-profit organization based on his fraudulent credentials. You make a fraudulent statement in attempting to get money for yourself through a non-profit organization and you can go to jail. Just ask Jimmy Bakker.
I’m going to bet he has gone into hiding and won’t even be present to not cast his vote for Trump. My guess is that the IRS is going to be looking for him soon.
State legislatures are responsible for nominating electors. The process can actually differ from state to state. In general, though, the two most common ways are:
The elector is nominated by his or her state party committee (perhaps to reward many years of service to the party).
The elector campaigns for a spot and the decision is made during a vote held at the state's party convention.
Usually, electors are people who are politically active in their party (be it Democrat, Green, Libertarian, Republican or Independent) or connected to the political arena. This includes political activists, party leaders, elected officials of the state and even people who have personal or political ties to the presidential candidates.
And while the Constitution makes no mention of qualifications that must be met to become an Electoral College member, it does determine an Electoral College member cannot be:
a member of Congress
a high-ranking U.S. official in a position of "trust or profit," which refers to a member of Congress accepting an appointment to executive office
someone who has "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against the U.S. [source: U.S. National Archives and Records]
The Texas electors must remove this lying piece of dog excrement. He is a fraud, and has engaged in insurrection against the United States by advocating other electors to abandon their oaths for no cause other than HIS opinion.
Time for a full court press on social media, talk radio, Drudge to force this story national.
Wendy Davis originally ran for office in the Dallas area as a Republican. Maybe he’s a Wendy Davis Republican. < /sarc >
Why does Texas not just replace this clown?
Why is he still there?
“Any chance hes really a Democrat - one who signed up as a Republican so he could call talk radio and say, Ive been a Republican for 20 years but Im really ticked off about ____________.”
Do you REALLY believe that people making those types of statements are telling the truth? I certainly don’t, because I do the same thing in another world, under different identities, when I troll as a liberal to help them “get their word out” (i.e., what they think and say to other liberals but know full well not to state publicly). In fact, just for fun, on some of the larger forums, I’ll post twice claiming to be a liberal in the first posting, and then ten minutes later I become a lifelong conservative in the second posting - very few people catch me...they always trust what I say in each posting, LOL.
Can’t Texas simply replace this POS??
He couldn’t have been at the pentagon as he was at his studios in the Empire State Building on 9/11/2001
