A teenage Chick-fil-A employee went to work in a neck brace and arm sling after being injured in a car crash because he needed money to help feed the homeless and he didn't want to let his colleagues down. Jakeem Tyler was pictured serving customers at a Chick-fil-A in Avon, Indiana last week. His left arm was in a sling and he was wearing a neck brace as he counted out change from behind the counter.

What a great young man.
Not my MC D. Of course it’s one of a few restaurants in our small town and we all know each other by name.
Been there many times. I agree.
Not just great, but classy. I agree that he should be one of the first invitees to the White House once it is fumigated on January 20 or shortly thereafter.
Totally agree
Well, I live in a near-ghetto. But even the CFAs in this near-ghetto are staffed by quality people.
Last time I ate at McDonalds the cashier barely spoke English and was rude. Never anything like that at CFA
Why not?
No, actually the one in Aberdeen MD has a better crew. :) You may have the chance to meet my son at the cash register.
They treat their employees well, have a high level of expectations for them and it seems that the customers mirror that.
My boy’s friend left his cell phone in the bathroom and when he went back, it was still there, 45 minutes later.
I was in a ghetto area Popeyes. All black people working with a black manager. The manager was out in the server area. I told him that I have been in there a few times... that the service has been exceptional every time. He says he models it after Chick Fil A.
My favorite is their morning chicken biscuit.
Cut back SSDI eligibility BIGLY.
At the same time, cut taxes on the working poor, eg fast food workers. Reward work. Don’t reward malingering.
Oh my gosh! I think today’s young kids often get a bad rap. Many of them are hard-working barely making any money.
Wow! This young man has a bright future in front of him. God Bless him.
you are right.
The neighborhood kids are now early 20 somethings and though living at home get up and go to work everyday. They no longer talk to me because they are just too busy
Good kid. we need more like him. Have you ever noticed the qualirty of the staff at Chick Fil A? They are always pleasant and polite. Where do they find them and why can’t Bother fast food places find a few? It must be a pretty good place to work.
For a number of years running my company held a work convention in Las Vegas. Down the street from the hotel where I stayed was a McDonalds that had to have been the best-run fast food establishment I've ever seen. Lots of energy, bright, motivated employees and management that stood right out in the middle of everything, helping out where needed, checking on the customers to see that they were happy; eyes on the process at all times. It was a pleasure to be there.
I noticed that too. Once again, the British press reports the news the MSM won’t.
Apparently Chik-fil-A is too conservative to write a positive story about.
You would think writing about a hard-working, caring young African-American man would be a story. But that would leave less space for BLM antics. /s
Def a difference caliber of fast food chain.
They have a store in the King of Prussia mall food court. During the lunch rush, they have a couple of employees out in the general food court area wiping down tables and getting their customers refills.
It’s to the point that the mall janitorial staff doesn’t even have to clean that section of the dining area, because it’s always spotless.
Well said.
