So much for draining the swamp!
It just continues to ferment into the most vile bacteria and maggot breeding cesspool imaginable.
I read that it was simply a matter that they didn't want to stick around any longer and were ready to go home.

Logical. Seven year statute of limitations leaves plenty of time for investigation, arrest, trial, conviction and imprisonment.
remove him? No impeach lerner. If they won’t take her down then why am I paying taxes?
The powers that be prefer that political justice is meted out behind closed doors in a manner that is approved by the uniparty insiders. They don’t like it when it is conducted in the daylight where their own failings could one day be exposed.
They’re on his side.
This case should be a no-brainer. The fact that the Senate would probably not convict should be completely irrelevant.
Also note that the guy’s term is up next year. Impeaching him would be simply a symbolic act that distracts the Senate from helping Trump clean up Obama’s mess.
I no longer trust any politician.
Not a single one.
There’s more to be gained by eliminating general public crime.
Just close down the police departments and courts.
I mean, if that’s the way you want to go, go for the brass ring.
Otherwise let’s hold crooks accountable.
WTF??? Someone has some explaining to do. If your senator is guilty of saving this weasel’s job and pension, he should be held to account.
Pretty sure Levin will have a good half-hour rant about this, being the chief of Conservative Review and whatnot.
No. A pardon would come. Leave it alone until Jan 21.
They are playing chess.
Pardons would be forthcoming. Wait, my young Padawan.
Lazy do we get a NEW IRS commissioner or is this POS on a term of some sort like the FBI!!!
Laz=Lazy DAMNED spell check
McConnell and Ryan don't give a crap about that because it has NOTHING to do with the legislative agenda of the Chambers of Crony Commerce or the unbridled and totally focused greed of its leaders or the care and feeding of Muffy's trust fund.
I don’t think this guy has much of a federal pension coming. He has worked here and there in various local, state, and federal jobs. Not sure if he stuck around long enough to get vested for pension funds. He made most of his money like Romney at a corporate turnaround company.
DEmocrats are LAW-LESS because Republicans are BALL-LESS!!!
We gotta wait. He’ll probably retire in early ‘17, when Trump offers him immunity if he quits right that second.
