Hai! Taking my first flight as an F/O (being observed) - being evaluated. Wish me luck!
I finally got my car back, Woo-Hoo.
Not much else with me, cold mornings turned into sunny but cool days.
How far are those horrible fires from you?
You have any trouble making kittehs at Christmas time?
You are a trustworthy and loyal person. You are a keeper of secrets and confidences.
You believe in yourself and the people around you. You know that others can always surprise you.
People matter, and you put them first. You have a generous heart.
You are a ton of fun, and you love to bond with others. You make instant friends with people.
Well who didn't know all of that?
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Howdy SandRat.
The good thing about Wednesday is it’s halfway through the week to the weekend! LOL!
Praise the Lord that you are getting rain again! Thunder and all! Is it too chilly to open a window? I hope it helps get those fires out!
HERE is a video of a guy and his friend and his dog trying to escape. They did, but it was iffy for a while. [if you can't view, maybe some others can. :)]
Heh-heh...yep, I’ll bet The Boss grounds you all the time! :)

Hope you and Penny are having a good week! Is she settling in well?
Well, of course, WE all did! :)
You Are Grounded |
Making the little things wonderful is important to you, and you try to add a bit of comfort to each day. You often help others with their problems. You offer practical and workable solutions. You stick with what works and avoid novelty for its own sake. You know there is no need to reinvent the wheel. |
I do wish you luck on this important milestone! Hope it goes really well so you can keep advancing! Keep flying high!
Howdy, Kathy! (((hugs)))
Thanks for the ping-a-ling! Hope your Tuesday wasn’t just wild this week!
YAY! I know you’re glad to have your own wheels back.
Our days have been on the cool side but today has been warm. We’ll cool back off again starting tomorrow though.
But it’s warm enough now to crack the kitchen window open so I can hear the rain fall. And the thunder. Lovin’ it!
None of the fires are close to us, fortunately, but last week, the winds were blowing a lot of their smoke across the area. We’re very close to the TN/AL state line and Gatlinburg is way northeast of us, not all that far from Knoxville.
I know kittehs in this house will NOT behave at Christmas so I just don’t give them the opportunity to destroy stuff. Any decorations I put out are UP, out of kitteh paw reach. LOL! Primarily garlands over doorways. Better than beating the stuffing outta da kittehs.
Well, we walk two miles every morning, and she curls up with me on the couch to watch TV, loves to visit relatives, and is totally in love with ME and I with her, so I guess you could say she is settling in quite nicely.
She is a TREASURE! :-)
Good way to be, Marine! :)
She IS....and I’m so happy y’all found each other! It was meant to be and Lynn-Dah would approve 100%!
WOOHOO for lazy days! May you enjoy many, many more! LOL
Sounds like it was a fun lazy day. Glad to hear your MIL is doing so well.
Yes, we’re thrilled to get more rain tonight and it looks like it’ll be a goody. And I’m reeeeeeeeally enjoying the lightning and thunder. Yes, it’s warm enough to open a window so I can hear it even better. :-)
We’re under a tornado watch and there are two storms close by that have warnings with them. One will miss us (barely) but the other could come here. If I disappear suddenly, you’ll know I turned the computer off til that one is past.
I saw that video earlier this afternoon. Probably should have put a warning about language along with it. LOL! But I’ll tell ya, if I’d been in the car with them, the same words would have come out of my mouth. That was a terrifying experience, no doubt, and they were mighty lucky they got through! I had to keep telling myself to breathe while I watched it.
