Even the stupid have a life/death cycle.
Doris never knows what to think until someone else writes a book she can copy. ;-)
That makes us even. I have never been able to comprehend Doris Kearns Goodwin’s value to America.
...which side gets the missing link vote...
...I present, you decide!
I will always believe that this is all feigned shock. They knew that Hillary polled horribly, even with Democrats. They knew that the media had lost all legitimacy in the public’s eyes in recent years. They know that the silent majority have woken up to their ploy to import voters to stack the deck.
In conclusion, they knew before the primaries even started, that they were fighting an uphill battle, especially with Hillary as their loser. That’s why they tried to run Bernie as a cynical attempt to make her more appealing. It just happened that Bernie caught on with the college-aged idiots.
To DKG’s chagrin, Trump had a “Goodwin” on election night.
These are deeply stupid people so no surprise here.
Black Style Basketball?! Yeah, that’ll never catch on.
I could never understand why any of the ‘people I’ve met along the way’ stories from Democrats, commanded any respect for truthfulness. Harry Reid’s ‘personal’ stories always sounded so fake and the Media never checked them out before reporting them as true. If Hillary had started on those types of stories, I suspect she would’ve lost many more voters. Her ‘sincerity’ factor is zero.
I hate the condescending arrogance of the Left. Let me just point out a few words she uses to frame her “I know better than you”:
GOODWIN: She was telling a more complicated story about America and all the various things she wanted us to do (so smart, that Hillary, and so brave to tackle all the hard complex, problems for us!)
The simplicity of Donald Trump (simple. You know, like a moron).
Donald Trump told a story (Made it up. A fairy tale, not real).
Whether true or NOT (he’s a liar).
That kind of story “somehow” (by lying) reached out to a certain part of America (dumb ass redneck racists).
Hillary’s plans and her programs might have touched those people more deeply (Hillary was better for these oh so dumb rednecks. Trump promised jobs; Hillary promises free day care and health clinics! Also, free-range kale! Why won’t the stupid white trash eat what’s good for them?)
‘Black style basketball’ is where you don’t pay attention to your coach or your playbook and just do whatever you want on the court. Also known as ‘glory hogging’.
That Barry played BSB doesn’t surprise me one bit.
Don't these lefties EVER retire?
Leni
The title of her next book was to be “First Woman”.
They look at America and they see everything about it they don't like. They look at America and they hold America up to ridicule. They look at America and they think Europe's better. They look at America and they see all the deficiencies and all the deficiency and all the problems with America tend to be rooted in one group of people: Republicans. White, the Christian Republicans. That's who the Democrat Party looks out, they see America, and they see nothing but grievance after grievance, injustice on injustice, and people are tired of it.
The targets of this unending litany of complaint sure are. Guess which demographic torpedoed the Hillary campaign the worst? All right, it isn't much of a guess.
And they've got a list of grievances that date back to the founding, including the founding, the founding itself was unjust and immoral and racist and bigoted. And so Hillary's view of America is of a country that's guilty and needs to be fixed and corrected and punished. Obama, ditto. Joe Biden, ditto. All of these people, same view of America. That is what has become the mainstream of the Democrat Party.
It's become the mainstream of academia as well and a deeply internalized principle within most of the media, especially but not exclusively domestic. "America was never great," according to Soros's darlings, the Revolutionary Communist Party. These people are enemies. Why treat them otherwise?
Shes annoying as hell and a Clinton butt kisser.
She just doesn’t get it.
Not to Doris Kearns Goodwin: As your son the Marine officer to explain the basics about Donald Trump, the who he is, the what he stands for, and the who voted for him. Listen to what your son says and do not interrupt him until he says, “Do you understand that, Mom?” Then you may ask questions that deal with what your son told you. Avoid asking any questions based on what anyone else has told you about Donald Trump.
Then get out of Concord, Massachusetts—in fact, get out of Massachusetts and the Northeast. Drive to Ohio, then to Indiana, then to Iowa, and then to Wisconsin. Spend a week in each state arising early enough (Yes, I know you are a college professor and to you arising early means 9 a.m.) to make it to breakfast at a blue collar diner by 6 a.m. (If you have to, just stay up late but eschew the wine and cocktails you would normally have.)
In each diner talk to the patrons—particularly those patrons only stopping for a cup of coffee. Ask them this simple question: “Sir, (or Ma’am), are you and your family better off today after eight years of the Obama Presidency than you were eight years ago?” (Be prepared for many people to laugh at you as if you might be insane. Be prepared to recognize that most of the people in those states consider people from Concord, Massachusetts today to be insane. They may not be psychiatrists, but people from the “Rust Belt” which was created largely by Democrats pushing their insane policies know crazy people when they see them.)
Then remind those people that it was Democrat James Carville who famously said, “It’s the economy, Stupid.” Be prepared for people to tell you the Democrats should have listened to the Cajun-o-crat and done something—anything—in the last eight years to improve the economy.
Then ask them what they think of Hillary Clinton. Expect to be told she is the most corrupt piece of excrement to ever run for the Presidency of the United States, that she should be tried, convicted, and jailed for the rest of her natural life.
Finally, ask them if they have hope for positive change under a President Trump. Be prepared to hear they say they do with many adding, “We voted for Obama because he claimed to represent Hope and Change. He destroyed all home and even took the change from our couch cushions.”
Try to keep out of the major cities. Deal with the people in the smaller towns where Donald Trump drew 10,000 or more people to rallies.
You claim to be an educator. It is time you educate yourself on the pain the average American has endured for the last eight years and how so many of us wanted four more years of the same old stuff.
