Clinton campaign lawyer Marc E. Elias gave the scheme away in an article published Saturday morning at Medium announcing Clinton would join the recount effort in Wisconsin by Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein and that Clinton would join Stein should she also file for recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Elias wrote that starting the day after the election the Clinton campaign worked to find ways to reverse Trump’s election.
Elias’ statement:
…we have quietly taken a number of steps in the last two weeks to rule in or out any possibility of outside interference in the vote tally in these critical battleground states.
First, since the day after the election we have had lawyers and data scientists and analysts combing over the results to spot anomalies that would suggest a hacked result. These have included analysts both from within the campaign and outside, with backgrounds in politics, technology and academia.
Second, we have had numerous meetings and calls with various outside experts to hear their concerns and to discuss and review their data and findings. As a part of this, we have also shared out data and findings with them. Most of those discussions have remained private, while at least one has unfortunately been the subject of leaks.
Third, we have attempted to systematically catalogue and investigate every theory that has been presented to us within our ability to do so.
Fourth, we have examined the laws and practices as they pertain to recounts, contests and audits.
Fifth, and most importantly, we have monitored and staffed the post-election canvasses — where voting machine tapes are compared to poll-books, provisional ballots are resolved, and all of the math is double checked from election night. Sixth: we have set up automatic machine payments to another candidate who will act as our surrogate to force recounts in several Electoral vote critical states. This is a long shot, but there exists the possibility of overthrowing the false election. If this recount is successful, the candidate we have in mind will be amply rewarded from any remaining proceeds - we expect to transfer at least $7 million leaving a nice cushion of $2 million for our candidate.

War? No. Not that crap again. Everyone talked “war” over Obama’s crimes during the last 7.9 years, yet no one moved a finger. This will go nowhere.
Trump won fair and square. The communists, snowflakes and Soros need to get over it.

Let them have their recount, insist it be completed very quickly.
If they commit fraud and steal it, there is only thing you can do. All I’m going to say is, million man protests etc wouldn’t cut it....
This is pretty much what Podesta said in the early morning hours to Hillry’s. Jezebel does not intend to be denied.

“We”??? There’s that saying “all politics is local”, and for the most part, it’s true. Petitions usually have zero effect other than making a person who signs on ‘feel’ like they’re doing something. “...to examine votes cast by dead people and illegals”.... The way to not “stand by and do nothing” is to get involved at the local level. As an individual, a person can usually purchase the lists of registered voters, or it’s easier if one is involved in a local political party so the list can usuall be obtained for free. Then one must also obtain the lists of who voted in recent elections to start looking for anomalies. Your county clerk is ‘supposed to’ purge the voter rolls of dead people and people who have moved. If they’re not doing such, you need to start making a lot of noise about it, and once again, the “noise” will carry more weight if one holds a position in a political party. There’s plenty of ways to get involved, and it can be very frustrating at times, but then at least efforts are being made, hopefully with positive results, and the ‘feeling’ of standing around doing nothing disappears.
My theory of the hour:
This started off as merely Stein looking to make headlines and dollars. But Trump’s meeting with the media bigwigs resulted in heightened antipathy and the media are pushing this story out of sheer spite, bent on delegitimizing the Trump presidency.
Am I worried about the outcome? Sure, I live in PA. If they can’t cook up a hundred thousand new votes in Philadelphia, if they didn’t already have them “just in case” I’d be astonished. They were simply too stunned on 11/8 to pull them out that night — there was seemingly no point, when Michigan and Wisconsin were in Trump’s column.
However, there is still no point in it. When success (at a crime) in one state depends on success (at a crime) in two other states, criminals lose motivation. And success here is very unlikely, whereas risk of failure is increased.
Also, it is beyond obvious that targeting these three states is to benefit Clinton, not Stein. PA judges relish pointing out the obvious, it gets them home to supper on time.
So...media circus, gone in a few days and nothing to show for it except ubiquitous GOP elephant poo.

The language in the constitution says majority of the electors appointed. If these three states are still recounting and appoint no electors, the number for majority is reduced.
If I were Trump, I would have attorneys and observers everywhere in these states, and I would insist upon “Proof of a chain of possession” for any and all ‘discovered’ ballots. Any thing the equivalent of finding new ballots in the trunk of someones car should result in those ballots being thrown out. If you can't document where they came from, who had them, who else had access to them, etc. etc., then you absolutely cannot count them.
I can't believe we still have to deal with Hillary's ego. She is truly sick.
A couple of weeks ago I posted that action to prevent voter fraud should be a priority now. Someone promptly chided me that this is a state issue.
Well, it is not a state problem, is it? The election of the 45th president of the nation is threatened right now.
There is much we can do on the federal level to protect the integrity of the vote, and it is entirely proper to do so when the consequences affect the nation.
That’s why she released staged photos.

These people are vile and loathsome. I wish them nothing but pain and misery. It’s going to be a constant fight for Trump.
I knew at that point that Trump would be crazy if he let her off the hook at any time in the future. In fact, my comment was to drive a stake through their heart and kill them off once and for all and permanently. After this nonsense when he wins he should immediately begin an outright purge of the country of everything Clinton right down to the booties on the granddaughter grifter.
Bind their hands, Lord. Bind their hands. Give Mrs. Clinton the wisdom to exit graciously from the world’s stage so we can all get on with our lives.

Absolutely correct. IMHO, she’s an uncreative person, with no particular demonstrated talents, who is pathologically driven by her narcissistic personality disorder. It’s truly ‘all about her’.

Trump stopped those who want WWIII wining. Unfortunately there is only so much he can do to stop those same forces provoking Civil War II.
You can’t just beat these people in an election and walk away. You need to put a wooden stake through their heart. These are not amusing political adversaries, they are dangerous people that want to kill our country and its people. We don’t just need to beat them in an election, we need to DESTROY them. As for the Clinton’s and the recount...an immediate appointment of a special prosecutor ON DAY ONE going after the Foundation would send the message. Trump tends to hit back. Hope he is true to style.
