I don’t know anything about dollars raised or what it is for. I DO know that the Michigan GOP asked for volunteers and I volunteered. Stein has to come with buku $$$ for fees to be paid to the states for the challenges.

That’s kinda sad.. 1876 seems to have been an interesting year for electors too.

BUT the states appointed them and they voted.
New York in 1789 is the only case I’ve found of a state not appointing it’s electors.

In PA and MI, her petition will have to convince a court.

When Obama struck a conciliatory tone about the incoming Trump administration the other day, I knew something was up.

Watch them find courts that will allow both recounts to proceed.

the only stategy i see here is the longshot faithless elector. or they are buying time and hoping for more ‘fraud’ to show up in other states..

A hand recount will not be done before the electors are to meet.

That's precisely the point. If the recall isn't complete, the state's electors will be thrown out, thus lowering Trump's total electoral count.

If they can do that in WI, MI, and PA, Trump will have less than the required 270, thus throwing the election to the House of Representatives.

At least that's the plan.

Per the Constitution, all he needs is a majority of "the electors present" to win on December 19th.

Has anyone figured out why this is actually going on?

Trump won Pennsylvania by over 70,000 votes. That one isn't going to change.

If the other two could even be overturned it would not be enough to alter the outcome.

I don't get it.

My take on this is the Dems know they can't find the votes to flip these states. They have enough people running the counts in the liberal precincts to just delay the count past 13 Dec. At that point those states lose their Electoral Votes.

Yes, but an air dropped bomb or hellfire missile would likely totally destroy a gun owners home with one shot. The real issue is how loyal the military is to the Federal Government and corrupt politicians that they would or would not carry out unconstitutional actions against American citizens. The real danger is that peer pressure from fellow soldiers and pressure from Commanding Officers, who can be allied with either side of the political spectrum, in any military should never be underestimated.

Do the Dumbocrats even see the hypocrisy in this strategy??? The party that demands that “every vote counts” wants to erase the votes from three states. In essence making those votes “not count”!

Well, that’s a nice way to piss me off against the Democrats for totally removing my state’s voice from the electoral college altogether. If they do that, then it becomes real obvious who would be considered more corrupt and more dangerous.

... but on June 6, 2005, Judge John E. Bridges ruled that the Republican party did not provide enough evidence that the disputed votes were ineligible—or for whom they were cast—to overturn the election.

This is an important point to remember. Even documented evidence of massive numbers of people voting illegally in an election is not likely to support a challenge to an election result. The simple reason for this is that votes are cast anonymously, so there's really no way to tell -- unless you have sworn affidavits from people who voted telling you who they voted for -- which candidate received the illegal votes.

In other words, the top leaders will each get a 2nd or 3rd house from the sucker donors.

Wisconsin may be the easiest of the three to get a recount, but I assume they picked it first because it had the earliest deadline for a recount petition (yesterday).

So did we. But I have very little hope that a recount here would be done in time.

“At that point those states lose their Electoral Votes. “
Unless the state legislature does it’s duty and appoints the electors.

I say with confidence that no state has failed to appoint electors since 1789. That would be quite an accomplishment for one to fail so miserably now.

PA Superior Court is a statewide court and is the only one they can "find." PA law requires the petition be filed with "an appeals court." That means either Superior Court, The Commonwealth Court, or the State Supreme Court. The Commonwealth Court does not deal with voter issues, and the State Supreme Court would not be the first court of appeal.

To order a statewide recount, they must present prima facie evidence of fraud, or evidence that irregularities are so pervasive as to substantively alter the result of the election.

Not so.

If the count cannot be certified on December 13, as require by the constitution, the state legislature is empowered to appoint their own slate of electors to cast their EVs when the Electoral College meets on December 19.

Inasmuch as both houses of the state legislatures in all three states are controlled by Republicans, Trump will not be denied any EVs.

“It makes no sense just to hold since no one actually knows what their end game is.”

They probably will file counter petitions in all three states because it appears that then both parties have to go before a court (or some para-judicial body) and explain the reasons for filing their petitions. For Trump it’s simple since he “sees” no evidence of vote fraud and wants the current results to be certified as true. OTOH Stein has to show her “evidence’ of fraud and since all she has is some pie in the sky computer models that fly in the face of the real election data, she will loose.
