Shockingly large numbers of Americas middle school, high school and even college students are stunningly unable to process the media information that sloshes over them on a daily basis, according to a study released this week by Stanford Universitys History Education Group.

Gotta keep them stupid.
For examples of such idiocy, just go to youtube and do a search of Mark Dice videos.
The total lack of either a moral compass or any form of critical thinking combine in a most toxic way, to poison so many minds of the coming generation.
Many, but not all. Some youths still grow up to be adults.
Let’s not forget the university/professorial environment, where fears and intimidations inherently play a large role.
I have several adult academically-employed acquaintances, even older than I, who can’t seem to shake the dependent, cocoon-like thinking fostered therein.

It’s not just students if Facebook is any indication.
What is facebook if not former victims of the government run education system?
Not for nuthin, about half of the posters on this site believe articles that are BS. Critical thinking is a lost art.
I mainly rely on the National Enquirer. ;-)
The public education system in the US is design to create ignorant emotionally immature people with no core or common sense. They are not remotely taught how to critically think.

There can be no questioning of the essential dogmas of democratic socialism.
Dumbed-down snowflakes with skulls full of mush has been the goal and plan ever since Jummah Cahtah birthed the seditionist
U.S. Dept. of Ed. Watters’World Thanksgiving Nite had scores of them on display. College students, dumber than rocks.
Mark Dice seems to do most of his interviews on the Left Coast, but he could probably get similar responses anywhere else in the country. It’s shocking how clueless, misinformed and distracted many young people are. Hard to imagine them running the country a few decades from now.
This Stanford study appears to be preparation for stricter government control over the internet, specifically tighter control over conservative conservative news sources like Breitbart, Drudge, James O’Keefe, Free Republic excetera.
there seems to be a tidal wave of leftist education for tighter information control.
I think this is the start of something very important.
They want their media Monopoly back.
Sometimes just a title deserves response. Our media analysts are morons who can’t tell real from fake news. Didn’t some of them actually believe the polls they were using before the election? What can we expect from students when a lot of what they put in TV “news” and in print is fake?
True. Mark Dice is the Left Coast version of Jesse Watters.
Well, we have the "sex and drugs and rock & roll" clueless, misinformed and distracted hippies running it at the moment (from a few decades ago)
