We keep learning more about this plot — just as we keep learning more about the Garland jihad attack against our free speech event. Now we find out it was directed from Syria, from the heart of the Islamic State (ISIS). ISIS considers itself to be the caliphate, the sole legitimate government for Muslims worldwide. And they were so enraged by cartoons of Muhammad, they were directing jihad murderers half a world away to kill me. In response, every government official and news outlet in the Western world should have been standing for free speech. Instead, they blamed the victim and continue to do so.
