Happened to Reagan too; Hinckley was in the waiting crowd.

( You lie, you fly!)

I LIVE to hear him say that! LOL! Although, truthfully, there is a certain amount of annoyances from the press that he'll have to deal with as the most public figure in the world.

Who will Trump find to be his body double?

I have a friend who could do that!

If any of them create their own facts, then they simply should be forced out of the press pool.

I have no problem with that. Have an administrative hearing process, but kick their asses out if they lie. Bring in a replacement person who has integrity.

As a public figure, Trump cannot avoid defamation and libel
by the press, but in the White House press Pool, Trump can kick them out.And he should do so without mercy.

Its time to insist that the press have integrity as befits their 1st amendment rights. No more jingoistic propaganda.

Reinstate professionalism.

Yeah, but hopefully Trump shows he can handle being pestered sometimes, because the standards are going to be weighed against you if you are not Obama or Clinton

Backlash by whom? And these baboons dare talk about a “conservative echo chamber.”

I think so, too. I think Bush could have been harder on them. Although Tony Snow...God rest his soul....was really good to put them in their place with his humor.

Well, he can crack some jokes every now and then. Just don’t show that he is giving up or losing it.

[Happened to Reagan too;]

Exactly and with all the unhinged hatred against Trump out there you can be sure his Secret Service detail is high alert when he goes out in public. (I hope)

This is satire, right? If it’s not, I’m going to organize a protest because our president doesn’t deserve any of the rights to privacy that we, Jaunita and John Q Public, demand.

"It is unacceptable for the next president of the United States to travel without a regular press pool...."

So don't accept it. See if we care.

Who needs the “press pool”? Trump doesn’t. Obama didn’t. Hillary didn’t at least in terms of never having a press conference. Nobody needs ‘em. Too bad, so sad.

They have been used to doing this for a couple of generations now. They figure they are entitled. There is a reason for signs in the National Parks that say “DO NOT FEED THE BEARS”...................

There is absolutely nothing Trump can do that won’t “Spur sharp critism.” by the media. My vote for Trump was also a vote against Hillary, Rino’s AND the media. They can pretend that they weren’t players, but they were and I’ll never forget that. Those idiots in the press must be put down. Hard. They are fools. Let’s see how they squeal when Laura Ingraham is giving the press conferences.

There’s a saying ‘I may not choose my job but at least let me choose my co-workers”.

and why would you bring a bunch of assholes who will burn you at the stake if they had the chance?
