“People are frustrated, people are just really sad and shocked,” said Trey Boynton, the director of multi-ethnic student affairs at the University of Michigan. “A lot of people are feeling like there has been a loss. We talked about grief today and about the loss of hope that this election would solidify the progress that was being made.”
There was a steady flow of students entering Ms. Boynton’s office Wednesday. They spent the day sprawled around the center, playing with Play-Doh and coloring in coloring books, as they sought comfort and distraction.

My dumbass university made the entire 2nd floor of the student union into one giant counselling safe space. So glad I wrote them off decades ago.

My great-grandfather came over from Czechoslovakia alone on a boat at the age of 14.
My grandmother grew up in the Depression; she saved everything, rubber bands, aluminum foil, everything.
These kids have known no hardship. They need to wake up.
For starters their parents should kick them out of the house and cut off the allowance.

The Administrators need to be terminated for turning these “Institutes of Higher Learning” into NURSERY SCHOOLS. What are they teaching these students? Pathetic.
I cannot think of a more pathetic individual than these kids. The world is there, theirs for the taking, and they whine and cry and play with play-doh in their safe spaces. Truly a bunch of wretched creatures.
Their parents have coddled them to the point of insanity. Their parents are whiney liberals. That’s why the kids are like they are. Truly pathetic.
Now that is actual trauma. You must have been frightened, particularly because your parents were probably scared and children know things like that.
The Greatest Generation has been replaced by The Pampers/Pampered Generation.
Well, liberals are children.
They should be forbidden from ever advancing to the adult table, and should be beaten for being disappointments to their parents.
