My church had a prayer meeting last night about the election, as did another church in town. I didn’t find out about it until after it was over, but my understanding is that it was prayers for God to be our strength, and prayers for wisdom on the part of the voters and for the nation to hold together.
I think a lot of Christians have realized how serious this is, and realize that we need God to intervene. It feels sort of like Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord will spare us for the sake of 10 righteous people, but will He find that many? In a way, the American public is on trial.
