Even if you live in a deep blue state, your vote is meaningful in context of popular vote totals. A bigger total gives the elected POTUS greater startup power.
We sent in 4 mail in votes in WA state for that reason, although canckles is sure to carry the state.

I took the sensation headline collection as the race being close, and the votes cast by evening voters will be the deciding factor. That doesn;t mean the decision is known quickly, just that the race is now neck and neck, and hoow the votes go from here on out are essentially the margin in the race.

Good news is back in 2012, most of us knew at this point in the day that Romney was not going to win.
Trump, on the other hand, looks like he is going to be very competitive all night long. With a couple of breaks, he will win this thing.

And exit polls can change throughout the day and evening.
Also, if there is a hidden Trump vote coming out to vote,
Why would they tell an exit poll who they voted for, when they have
been silent all along.
Exit polls only show who chooses to participate.
Not the ones who choose to remain silent.

The following has helped speed up my computer. I am using Windows 7.
In most cases a large HOSTS file (over 135 kb) tends to slow down the machine.
To resolve this issue (manually) open the “Services Editor”
Start | Run (type) “services.msc” (no quotes)
Disable all non-Microsoft unnecessary services.
Scroll down to “DNS Client”, Right-click and select:
Properties - click Stop
Click the drop-down arrow for “Startup type”
Select: Manual, click Apply/Ok and restart.
Hannity says he is not going to listen to the exit polls (out in nine minutes), but he thinks the race is close everywhere, and the contest may come down to a single state, maybe Nevada. He is just working with that assumption. He says he thinks the path to Trump victory is narrow. Doug Schoen on, says that exit polls are systematically biased in favor of the DEMs. Not a bad position to take, basically "I don;t know" phrased in a way that encourages turnout.
And that position naturally gives me a little more anxiety. Will be resolved in due course.

I just checked - Varney is on now, Dobbs is coming on at 3 our time and Cavuto is on at 5 until about 9 or 10.
Someone just interviewed a guy on the street in NYC - will not vote for Hillary - liar.

I was thinking more about giving the bag of pearls back to him when and if he should ever get engaged...and tell him to pay to have them re-strung for his bride ;-)
I hve thought about doing it myself, but somehow, something more important seems to always come up, and I cant justify the expense.
