Check it out folks.

This is just a couple of secretaries sending messages on their private emails on work time.

But the problem is, they're the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense!!

Somehow, it just isn’t surprising that Gates would get invited to the pervy “soul cooking” dinner parties.

Should we send him an email and ask what they talk about?

gates sounds like he wants to sanction taking trump out altogether

http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/17/politics/robert-gates-donald-trump-hillary-clinton/

“When it comes to credibility problems, though, Donald Trump is in a league of his own,” Gates, a Republican who led the Defense Department under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed Friday, adding that electing Trump is “too great a risk for America.”

“The world we confront is too perilous and too complex to have as president a man who believes he, and he alone, has all the answers and has no need to listen to anyone,” Gates wrote. “A thin-skinned, temperamental, shoot-from-the-hip and lip, uninformed commander in chief is too great a risk for America.”

Fricking Incredible!

Now we know why Gates did some of his actions to deball our military as an effective fighting force.

Gates really sucked up to Podesta in that message. I guess he wanted to be invited to the pervert parties...

It says Podesta not Clinton. And at the time this was sent, Gates was SecDef to W. Barky had just won the election and I would think this communication involved asking Gates to stay as SecDef.

Was Podesta Sec. of State in 2008?

There is no smoking gun here. You don’t lose the right to have a private life when you become SECDEF. Gates has a home telephone number too, I imagine. Nothing wrong with correspondence of a non-business nature moving in non-business channels. That’s the way it’s supposed to work.

I assume we all knew already that these people are a very tight circle and stay in touch?

That email address:

Is not bouncing back. It seems to be accepting emails. So there you go!

I understand that they want to conduct personal on these email systems. We all do it.

Simply because it’s inappropriate for the Little League and Boy Scouts, and O’Reily auto parts reciepts, etc, to be sending things to my office account. And I do send things back and forth to them to use the yahoo account as a portable to avoid the office VPN login.

But...I am not Sec Def, Sec State, etc. and my business is not classified.

Checking private email accounts during work time is not in and of itself a violation of government rules. What Clinton did that was wrong was use private accounts to conduct government business. You can use government computers for personal business as long as you meet three basic conditions:

1) There is no additional cost to the government. Checking email on an existing computer and internet connection don’t create any additional cost.

2) You are not neglecting your work responsibilities. A few moments to fire off a note to your spouse, friend, bank, etc... is considered ok. A quick purchase online is ok as long as you don’t abuse the privilege and ignore work responsibilities.

3) Never use government systems to conduct profit making business. Trading stocks, selling items on ebay, etc... are strictly prohibited.
