Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has officially joined the Donald Trump campaign and has already hit the trail with Gov. Mike Pence in Iowa and Michigan.
After a heated primary season for the Republican Party, Trump and Cruz came out of the Republican National Convention with a less-than-friendly relationship.
"Sen. Cruz will join Gov. Pence in Iowa and Michigan today," Pence's press secretary Marc Lotter told USA TODAY. "Having Sen Cruz join the governor today underscores what he has been saying for the past few weeks and we are seeing happen across the country - it is time for Republicans to come home."

I respect what you are trying to do. It’s not working.
Look, the only way we make corrections in life, or avoid things we shouldn’t do is to pay attention to things and avoid doing things that will cost us.
Ted chose to do what he did this year. I didn’t force it on him. He swore to support the nominee. Instead he pouted and took a pass on doing it.
About a month ago he said he would vote for Trump. He spent a few minutes making phone calls one day, then we heard nothing from him for a month.
Now he’s out on the trail.
What kind of a supporter of Trump would I be if I allowed Ted to do what he did and not call him on the carpet for it?

It would have helped if you can gotten through to Ted before the Convention.

IMO there’s about a 90/10 chance Cruz is hoping Trump will lose so he can run in 2020.
I know this drives some folks crazy. Ted’s behavior was pretty hard to talk this year too.

Wow. I didn't take it that way at all.
Look at the context again. He was referring to the size of the Trump writing on the side of the plane. He was insulting the reporter for asking a silly question by pointing out the size of the big Trump billboard that he was traveling in.

You have no idea all the crimes that Obama’s owners committed to get him into the White House and keep him there. Cruz has not done any of those things.
But it’s beside the point. The point right now is why dig all this stuff up now? Why try to stuff a crow sandwich down voters whose knife wounds haven’t yet healed? It’s ugly. It was that ugliness that ruined the chances for what could have been a good working alliance between Cruz and Trump. Scorched-earth may win primaries, but it doesn’t win generals. And in the end what you have is scorched earth. But hey, at least if you’re lord of the flies you can gloat.

Read it carefully. Cruz only said that he’ll vote for Trump. He never endorsed him, as you and CNN claim.

There must be some documentation, people born outside the country have to apply to be recognized as citizens of the US.

I prefer a natural born citizen as one who has always loved and admired America, one who is America first, and wants to stop importing unskilled, unvetted and religious bigots as immigrants. Romney satisfies your definitions of NBC, but I still do not prefer him over someone like Mark Steyn.
