NEW YORK CITY, New York — The Old Dominion is back on the chessboard as the final week of the campaign begins with a new poll from Boston’s Emerson College showing Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton’s lead there has nearly evaporated.
Clinton is only ahead of her Republican opponent Donald J. Trump by four percentage points—just outside the 3.4 percent margin of error—in Virginia. This is the state’s first survey taken since FBI director James Comey announced he was reopening the criminal investigation into Clinton’s illicit home-brew email server that she set up in violation of State Department guidelines.
The poll of 800 likely voters found Clinton at 49 percent compared to Trump’s 45 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson pulled three percent and the Green Party’s Jill Stein pulled one percent. The survey was conducted from Friday Oct. 28 through Sunday Oct. 30.

Didn’t a similar thing happen in the 2014 Virginia Senate race, all the polls had the democrat up 10+ points and then he ended up nearly losing and won by a mere .2% margin? The polls seem to really overestimate the democrat vote in Virginia...
That was the Gillespie race. Yes, 7-10 points up and then won barely by 17k votes.

The governor ordered something like 200,000 extra ballots. They are very prepared to cheat the election to Hillary.
I don’t think they poll outside of NOVA which is heavily dem.

I believe if things stay as the are Trump will erase her small margin and take the lead in Virginia by election day !!! Black turnout is way down, media picking up on that today.

That’s been Mc-Awful McAuliffe’s plan all along — announced months ago. He made it look like only a small number would get their right to vote.
But I would not be surprised if he will hand some over to illegal immigrants, dead people, etc.

GOP brand was damaged with McConnell scandal. Hopefully that is over and Trump being an outsider will help in that state.
When the numbers are flipped for Trump, it’s considered a “landslide.” These polls, and those who report on them, are a joke.
