Didn’t a similar thing happen in the 2014 Virginia Senate race, all the polls had the democrat up 10+ points and then he ended up nearly losing and won by a mere .2% margin? The polls seem to really overestimate the democrat vote in Virginia...

That was the Gillespie race. Yes, 7-10 points up and then won barely by 17k votes.
