TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/NSF) After attending a fundraiser for Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago this week, Robin Bernstein was more pumped up than ever about the Republican presidential nominee.
Bernstein is among the minority of Jewish voters supporting Trump, the iconoclastic real-estate mogul and part-time Floridian who has deepened the partisan divide at the mahjong table at other clubs throughout South Florida.
For Bernstein, the choice between Trump and his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton whose experience includes stints as first lady, U.S. senator and secretary of state is simple: which candidate will be the best at keeping the country safe.
You dont build a business like that, an international empire, by being a pussycat. You have to be tough. You have to be resolute. You have to be firm. And you have to be strong, Bernstein, a resident of Palm Beach and one of the exclusive Mar-a-Lago clubs original members, said about Trump in a telephone interview after Mondays breakfast fundraiser. So you have somebody that may get a little hot under the collar. I think its about time we had somebody with some chutzpah.
Bernstein is one of a small subset of Jewish voters, most of them Republican, who distrust Clinton because of her affiliation with President Barack Obama and his administration.

The Jewish plantation is almost as bad as the Africans
JEWS from my perspective.
Great Musicians.
Really Creative.
My best friend and former engineer co worker is a Jewish conservative and liberal Jews drive him nuts
I dont get the Jewish and Asian vote.
Well, the college Asians LOVE the victim status, and think they have something in common with blacks.
Jews came through big for Rudy and ACTUALLY were the largest group percentage-wise to vote against deblasio.
I know so many Jews in Manhattan that are great people but support abortion and gay marriage.
But I’m Catholic and know Catholics who do too.
I’m sure every group has em.
But you CANT REALLY be Christian or Jewish if you vote for large scale murder of the most defenseless.
There are two types of Jews..the ones that care about Israel and her existence and then you have the liberal Jews, who could give a rats behind if Israel were wiped off the map tomorrow..those are the Jews whose top priority is abortion. My aunt supports Clinton, she supported Obama in 2008 and 2012..she doesn’t care about Israel, only “Social Issues” same goes for my Mom’s four Jewish friends, ask them about Israel, not a peep, but boy are they terrified that Republicans will take away their “Right” to murder babies. Orthodox Jews like you see on the Chabad Telethon, they vote Republican
This is pretty big.
Translation: If you are Jewish and are thinking of voting for Trump, it is ok. Other Jews are also voting for him.
I believe that will be the effect regardless of the intent of the author.
That’s what I was thinking!! Same thing with blacks.
Real jews will vote for Trump as they love Israel. the usual average NY Jew might wake the hell up, and yes I know a few of them up there.
A Jewish friend “explained” the whole obsession with abortion. She said that Jews have the right to reproduce, especially since the Holocaust and since they might produce babies with TaySachs disease they should be able to do genetic testing and kill those babies.
When I lived in Florida, most of the Jews I knew were right-of-center politically, because the nearest synagogue to my house was a mile and a half away, and it belonged to the Chabad sect; definitely not a liberal group! And yes, I did visit them for a couple services. I guess I was one of the lucky Floridians.
Why would they vote for HRC when she has the same ideas as BO. They hate the Jewish people and are trying to abolish them and their country.
The Asian angle is easy to understand. They wish to immigrate to the U.S. and become successful and make lots of money. However, for every young Asian you see graduating near the top of their class with a STEM degree there will be many family members working off-book at local Asian owned businesses such as restaurants.
They want taxpayers to take care of Uncle Han/Ravi with SSI, EBT, Medicade etc.
As with most immigrant communities, they are expert at scamming the system. A system most likely to remain intact under a democratic administration.
HRC has excellent relations with the democratic Jewish community. Googel Haim Saban, a very major benefactor to the Clintons for years and a very ardent Zionist. He knows what he’s paying for.
The ones that we know, I dont think they are looking at it through a disease standpoint..they just think its a woman’s “Right” to do whatever she wants with her body and that’s including murder their baby..heck they don’t even consider the baby a BABY..oh and are for Gay Marriage too, that is another big one and why they always vote Democrat
Also,I can't help but think that all Jews, even American ones, see themselves as victims. And as we know America's "victims" vote Rat.
I personally am familiar with the victim matter. My Dad's older brother, who grew up in the Irish slum of South Boston, hated the British 'till the day he died despite never even having been to Ireland, let alone having been harmed by the Brits.
Are they going to blame it on a butterfly again this time?
At the end of the day, the Jewish vote in the US only really matters in Florida.
Curious to see if the ones that have died of old age are being replaced by new.
More Jews will vote GOP this election than ever before.
Most liberal Jews are strong supporters of Israel.
In April of this year 83 senators wrote a letter pushing Obama to dramatically increase foreign aid to Israel.

Six of the nine Jewish senators, all liberal democrats, signed the letter: Feinstein, Wyden, Schumer, Cardin, Blumenthal and Schatz.
Three Jewish Senators did not sign: Sanders (I), Boxer (D) and Franken (D).
