The lying MSM teliing the 10-20 million illegals here, BLM, and other violent groups that Hillary is a 10+ favorite is setting up the U.S. for widespread riots.
The cooked polls (sampling 5, 10, 15, 20% more Democrat voters and using Obama-turnout numbers) are creating a scenario where leftists will perceive the Trump win as unexpected and cast the results into doubt. Similar to the Brexit they will immediately ask for a 'do over' and use civil unrest as a political weapon. Recall that Obama advised his cousin in Africa to cause riots post election to extort a place at the political table.
States like California and others with high numbers of illegals will have massive riots.
Serious question to preppers: What can the average citizen to to prepare for the post-Trump victory riots?
Hillary looks like she is already in bad shape. Her team was ready to whisk her into that van on 9-11, almost like they had done it many times before. Without the viral cell phone video, the media, who film everything, would never have let us know how bad off she is.
My guess: Hillary wants to be a footnote in the history books. She doesn't expect to live long in office, but she doesn't care as long as she holds absolute power for even a little while and can do something to us that will affect us forever. She doesn't care how much damage she does, as long as it is permanent so she will have made a difference. Win or lose, there isn't much of an "after the election" for Hillary.

Hand gun. Shot gun. Rifle. Ammo. And the will/skill to fire back.
Video security cameras w dvr. + battery back up. FRS radios w/ extra batteries.
Last but not least have a back up plan for escape.

Most mob violence ends quickly when several in the mob drop to the ground in a bloody mess. Watch any YT video with riots/mobs. As soon as gunshots are heard watch them scream and scramble like roaches.
Then be prepared for a more coordinated mob action soon after. They will attempt to get revenge on those that greased their fellow rioters.

Eggs last longer, whether you refrigerate them or not, if you rub the shells with cooking oil or mineral oil.
And be prepared for friends of the “main man” to attack in a more focused action. That’s if you are in your home.
If you are mobile, it would be best to take whatever action needed to secure your safety. Hit the accelerator. And hope they were not smart enough to follow. If they do manage to follow you in a vehicle-Do not go to the police station or firehouse.(They would probably be set on fire or involved in their own mob activities)

No one is going to shoot looters and rioters, at least in democratic strongholds and they will only attack those “who don’t belong” if they wander into those strongholds.
I watched Ferguson burn, personally. No looters were shot, except by other looters. The Oathkeepers showed up one night, and got the hell out because they were not wanted there and it was crazier than a Chinese fire drill.
The rioters and looters know their boundaries. They will not venture out into those areas where their life expectancy diminishes with the distance of the city lights. They hate the armed free peoples but they respect their ability to turn superior firepower on them. They have yet to test the willingness factor but I don’t think they will.
In short, if you are not living in a large metro area, you are most likely safe as can be.
The police are not going to shoot looters either. The DOJ will make sure of that.

It would be wise to stay as far away from the trouble as possible. If you can't get away or need to protect “your stuff” make sure you are really prepared. A couple 30 rounds magazines for your AR style long gun might be a good place to start. Don't try to do it by yourself, a large crowd might try to take out one gun but multiple protectors with guns, well positioned means someone is going to die, some place easier is where they will head.
To stop a mob, shoot the closest three in the groin area. As they writhe on the ground screaming in agony their fellow rodents will lose the will to continue. some will drop in place ... use head shot on those. some will run for cover, pick off the slow runners then refresh the magazine well.

"Assault rifles" are unobtanium; being sold out everywhere in anticipation of the upcoming ban. But shotguns and handguns appear to be in good supply everywhere.
I infrequently travel distances that I am unfamiliar with and have come to rely on my Garmin GPS.
In looking for an updated model GPS, I have noticed that some GPS offer "travel slowdown avoidance" programs.
Assuming that GPS is still working during a civil disturbance, I believe this avoidance program could be useful to avoid road-blocks, criminal rioting, blocked highways, etc.
I agree that the best way to avoid trouble is to just stay out of the area where it exists.
Tastes the same as any good milk you get at supermarket.

That includes MREs, water, medications and antibiotics, glasses,compass & maps, shelter, fire starters, etc.
Don't "bug out" unless you have a known place to go to, and have supplies along the way. (no wasted effort !)
