Texas: We Are Seeing RECORD BREAKING Voter Turnout in Texas… And It’s ALL For TRUMP
GP ^ | 10/26/16 | Jim Hoft

Sid Miller, Texas Agriculture Commissioner, went on FOX News on Wednesday to discuss the record breaking voter turnout for Donald Trump in the Lone Star State.

sid-miller-trump-texas

Sid Miller: We have a record number of people registered to vote in Texas. We’re having record turnouts, the first day, the second day of voting. And it’s not Bernie Sanders supporters coming out to support Hillary. It’s not Barack Obama supporters coming out to support Hillary. It’s a new surge of Trump voters, many who have never registered to vote. Many who have not voted in eight or ten elections so they’re not reported in the polls…

…I know for a fact that the polls are off because they oversample Democrats by eight sometimes up to sixteen percent oversampling Democrats. They’re oversampling women by five to eight percent. So the Republican vote is underreported. Plus there is no way to sample this extra twenty to twenty-five percent of new voters that are Trump voters. They’re not Republican, they’re not Democrats, they’re pragmatists. They’re tired of the status quo and they want change.

“Who is that guy on TV who looks like Ted Kennedy crossed with J.R. Ewing? Turns out it was Sid Miller. Now I see why Rush said that.”

No kidding he really does.

Rush said something like Who is that guy on TV who looks like Ted Kennedy crossed with J.R. Ewing?

If I looked like an old Ted Kennedy and lived in Texas, I might be tempted to go with that look. However, he should not be wearing his hat indoors. Bum Phillips never did.

How do we know they are voting for Trump?

We don’t.

Thats why all this euphoria/dismay over the numbers voting early is silly.

If Obama could not carry Texas then Hillary has zero chance. The large cities in Texas still have tons of Republicans and independents, yes some do have more democrats, but not near enough to overcome the State total Republican votes.

Texas 100% sure to go Trump.

3 Texas votes here for Trump.

Colorado is a leftist state with pockets of conservatism. I was in the Denver area in June and you did an excellent job describing the driving conditions there. It’s much more insane than Massachusetts drivi g used to be..or else I’m acquiring hillary brain in my old age!

Go Trump!

and a few die-hards for Bernie that refuse to scrape their stickers

I've heard a lot of these people talk in everyday situations (at work, at play, etc.). It's funny how they take a harder stance against Clinton than the GOP itself does. Never heard so many far-left Dems talk that way in all my years.

LOL, I’m friends with Sid on FB, he’s from the (Stephenville area). I kidded him on his page about being fortunate enough to be mentioned on Rush’s show only to have him say he looks like Teddy Kennedy. He thought it was funny as heck.

However, he should not be wearing his hat indoors.

I believe the etiquette is different in West Texas and for politicians. Back in the 50s and 60s all Texas politicians had their pictures taken wearing Stetsons. Even very dignified judges had to have a Stetson, not a Richard Petty version, mind you, but an expensive Stetson.

Two of my young adult friends (late twenties) proudly announced that they had registered to vote. We are in deep red Alabama but they wanted to vote for Trump just to send a message.

“All for Trump”?

At least that’s what the voters are saying.

But what really ‘counts’ is what the machines tally.

To put Texas voting in some perspective take a look at this 2012 Presidential
vote in the 254 counties.

Always been that way... Apparently Denver drivers are required to break a predefined number of laws (both statutory and natural) per hour or their license is revoked.

Yesterday I showed up wearing red at the Board of Elections and voted here in NY. The only other person there to vote was wearing more red than I was! What worries me are the reports of the voting machines changing votes - and the “prevoted” ballots that get counted. Here in NY, you can’t tell whether the machines read your ballots correctly or not, and I am sure that is by design.

We put 2 votes for Trump in Texas yesterday but forgot to wear red. Didn't notice anyone in red but saw a few sour facial expressions. That always says hate filled liberals to me!

I don’t know if Sid Miller is that good with agriculture or not, but he is one of the biggest Trumpsters in TX.

The four cities you mention are Democrat strongholds. Year ago, Dallas was arguably the most conservative city in TX: no longer!

“Many who have not voted in eight or ten elections so they’re not reported in the polls…”

This is the part I like and it could be said for other states as well.
