A video excerpt from liberal Michael Moore is taking the internet by storm. But its not Moores loyal fans singing his praises for a passionate political confession its Donald Trumps supporters who are doing the cheering.
In the speech that was given before an audience in Ohio, reportedly for the film Trumpland, Moore delves deep into the mindset of Trumps appeal.
But first, he shockingly starts out by defending Trump supporters.
Theyre not racists or rednecks, theyre actually pretty decent people. So, after talking to a number of them, I sort of wanted to sort of write this.
Moore went on to read a piece where he shares what he believes is the momentum behind the Trump movement. He recounts Trumps visit to Detroit, where he had talked of the citys dismal economy and it apparently left a deep impression on Moore.
Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said: if you close these factories, as you are planning to do in Detroit, and rebuild them in Mexico, I am going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobodys going to buy them.
It was an amazing thing to see.
No politician Republican or Democrat had ever said anything like that to these executives. It was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Brexit states. You live here in Ohio. You know what I am talking about.
Moore went on to talk of the forgotten man, who works hard if he or she is lucky enough to have a job and continually gets screwed by the very representatives who are supposed to have their backs.

Moore knows deep down that Trump is right but he’s loyal to the Hollywood elites so he can’t come out and state the obvious.
I’m sorry you have been through all that. These are definitely difficult times for many people. Prayers up for you.

NBC, Chuck Todd Hide Wife’s Kaine Donation, and Her Firm Getting Millions from Bernie Campaign

NBC Meet the Press host Chuck Todd has a wife whos active in Democratic Party strategic communications, and sometimes donates to Democrats. In 2012, Kristian Denny Todd contributed $2,500 to Sen. Tim Kaine. Todd never felt any need to disclose this during his three recent Kaine interviews on NBC (August 7, September 18, and October 23).
But Maverick Mail & Strategies, the firm Mrs. Todd founded in 2007 with fellow James Webb aides Steve Jarding and Jessica Vanden Berg, did heavy lifting for openly socialist Bernie Sanders for President this year. Open Secrets shows a bill for $1.992 million made in ten payments to Maverick from January to April. Todd has never disclosed this business relationship in 11 Sanders interviews this year. (If the work began in 2015 before the payments, Todd failed to disclose any tie in six Sanders interviews in the second half of 2015). We didn’t even count any Todd interviews with Sanders on MSNBC.
This isnt meant to suggest Todd’s interviews have gone soft on Sanders, or at least softer than he was with Hillary Clinton. (Although there was this May 29 Meet the Press introduction: This morning, my interview with the only candidate still viewed favorably by the voters, Bernie Sanders.) It simply means theres a significant conflict of interest that Todd and NBC News have never found necessary to mention. Transparency isn’t really in their interests here.

NBC and Todd would not go on the record in response to my requests about this information on the public record.
Nevertheless, Todd on Sunday mocked the idea that political reporters were too close to the Democrats, despite the report that WikiLeaks included the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Todd hosted a dinner party in 2015 honoring Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri.
Todd has made disclosures on other Maverick matters. On October 5, 2014, Todd interviewed former Sen. Jim Webb as a potential presidential candidate. He said Webb was “a successful author and screenwriter and has written eight books over the years. And I do want to mention that my wife helped Jim Webb in his 2006 Senate campaign.” Months later, Mrs. Todd was traveling with the short-lived 2016 presidential candidate as an aide.
On January 4, 2015, The Washington Post reported an interview Todd did that included Muriel Bowser, the Democratic mayor of the nations capital:
Early on in the seven-minute Meet the Press interview that followed, Todd paused to note that his wife, Kristian Denny Todd, worked for Bowser’s campaign.
“Full disclosure, my wife worked as a paid adviser to Muriel Bowser’s mayoral campaign in 2014,” Todd said.
Denny Todd’s name does not appear separately on Bowser’s campaign finance reports, but Maverick Strategies and Mail LLC, a firm she founded and where she was formerly a principal, was paid more than $634,000 last year by Bowser’s campaign.
Other Sunday-show participants have made disclosures over the years. George Will has disclosed on air at ABC (and later at Fox) his wife Mari Masengs work with Michelle Bachmann in 2011 and Scott Walker in 2015. On Fox, Nina Easton mentioned in the last two election cycles that her husband Russ Schriefer worked for McCain and Mitt Romney.
How would liberals feel if Fox News insisted its pundits refuse to disclose their spouse’s professional ties to a presidential candidate? NBC News bosses should have made Todd disclose this business relationship and let someone else do Sanders interviews. They knew it would look bad if their newly minted Meet the Press moderator — covering his first presidential campaign in that powerful chair — had to step back from interviewing Sanders or Kaine.
Instead, NBC looks like they’d rather just hide these lucrative family ties to Democratic campaigns. They obviously hoped no one would dig this up. But we did.

Moore appears to be in the middle of his epiphany.
Trump has articulated what Moore tried to, a quarter century ago, in his “Roger and Me” bag of lies and half-truths.

If the bible can talk about the devil, surely we have no reason to be prouder.
If we left it to some of the geniuses here, it would have been ignored because some were so sure that it was “fake” and a trick, or that they rather keep a stick lodged up their rear about the guy rather than spreading around the only sane thing he has likely ever said, at the best time to have ever said it!
Trump can’t fix the fickleness problem leading to the divorce and wife and kids going, but God can.

Moore is demonstrated that he understands what’s going on in this election, which is beyond most “progressives.”
He is warning the progressives, far from advocating Trump.
Most folks who are voting for Trump already understand where their frustration with government comes from.
I doubt it will have much impact if this goes viral.
“He just attacked Trump and his supporters, so I dont trust him”
So?
This isn’t about you. That video has been extremely helpful for our side.
You think the left is acting all squeamish when they use Colin Powell or Glenn Beck against us?
No one is asking you to like him on Facebook. Use what falls into your lap!
It's a Love Letter to Hillary with hugs and kisses from Michael Moore.
This seems to be another sign of divine action, like the occasions where even the devil was constrained to blurt out that the disciples of Jesus were telling people how to get saved.
I suggest: appreciate the witness without getting overly hung up on Mikey. He has the moral onus to repent. We pray that he will. But he could refuse.
It sounds like he has wrought an exquisite piece of irony.
Wow. Post-political election. This is not mere party squabbling, this is existential. Nominally a Republican, not a conservative in the classic sense, The Donald has come like a bolt out of the blue, from a dilettente, a butterfly, whose main contribution up to now had been financial, to nominees of one or the other political power bases, with a fine disregard as to the exact orientation of the person requesting the campaign cash.
Always dashing, and flamboyant to a degree rivaling that of the media stars whose company he gravitated to, The Donald had been a just about totally unselfconscious promoter of himself, and whatever cause caught his fancy. It so happened that when he takes on some enterprise, he gives it his undivided attention and, ever protective of the brand, builds this cause up into something much larger than just himself. Go big or go home, and The Donald does not go home. Sometimes the big has been spectacularly a setback, but The Donald, despite the number of times he has been declared “finished” by the lesser of his critics, has recovered and gone even bigger than before.
Arrogant? Maybe by some definitions. In possession of some gift? Perhaps, as The Donald has been able to turn the most unfavorable of circumstances to his benefit, and in doing so, has carried thousands of others with him. Crazy? Like a fox, giving his opponents ample opportunity to think they had him now, only to see him standing on a pedestal, just out of their reach, grinning with a near mischievous expression, as he springs lightly away.
There can be only one.
Moore definitely hates Trump, but he at least recognizes why people are voting for him and he’s from Michigan, he sees there are many in the rust belt who are being drawn to Trump’s message.
Biggest F*ck You in human history!
“It bothers me people are excited by this bit of comment from Moore. Yes it sounds great for Trump... “
And that’s why we are using it.
“Moores heart and vote are not in sync with it, “
We don’t care.
“so anyone excitedly thinking Moore has seen the light “
We don’t care.
“or this helps Trump is sorely mistaken “
Yeah, sure. Judging by the reaction it has helped tons.
“Its just some of Moores words taken out of full context.
Then LET HIM SAY THAT. No one needs you to be his spokesman and spin doctor.
“Same thing FRs dont like when Dems do to Trump or others we like.”
Let it be known that the right has as many adherents to Queensbury Rules as the Gope.
