Latest ABC News Presidential Poll Oversampled Democrats by 9%

The latest ABC News poll has Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by 12 points.

What the media will not tell you is that 9% more Democrats than Republicans were sampled in the poll.

“Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents.”

GOP primary turnout was up 62% this year while Democrat primary turnout was down 21% this year.

Playing with polls is a common Democrat-media propaganda tactic:

Matt Drudge is featuring the TRUMP +2 poll front and center on his website along with a photo of a dejected looking Crooked Hillary and wet-nurse Huma. I haven't seen such long faces since I cleaned the horse stalls at the Topsfield Fair.

BTW, the poll Drudge is featuring is the IBD/TIPP poll that was most accurate last two election cycles.

That's the winning attitude we need around here. We need not even mention oversampled alphabet soup polls which are only put out there to demoralize us.

Crooked Hillary and her sycophant media dummies can put out all the phony baloney polls they want but they know the real deal. Check out the long faces!

I have always wondered if some polls are over sampled to reflect the amount of “Creative Votes” inserted into the election thus giving the opposition an idea of where they stand when those votes are activated.

When I woke up this morning the TV was still on ABC. (Hub watched the local news) and when I saw their poll had the beast at 50% I had to laugh......of course I immediately turned it off........gawd

Great question. CNN justified their overpolling of democrats by saying that Republicans were refusing to participate in their polls.

I find it interesting that Trump only does badly in polls linked to news organizations. I wonder why.

D/R/I was 38/32/29
M/F was 47/53

Romney won independents 50/45
Romney won men 52/45
Obama won women 55/44

The only way Clinton is ahead with men and independents is by polling those who are likely to vote Democrat (minorities, college degree, etc.).

That is why it is important for a thorough breakdown of internals. Hillary up with men? OK, let's see the breakdown of men polled by race, party ID, single/married, college/no-college, income, etc. I can guarantee that as far as men are concerned, ABC was searching for men that would boost Hillary's numbers.

If Hillary is truly up that much, then why was she in Philly yesterday? If she was ahead that much PA would be a lock with no need to go there.

It is supposed to reflect the fact that there are more registered Dems than Reps. Which BTW is true. In this case the 9% more is a bit high nationally. Nevertheless a 9% oversampling of Dems that results in a 12% lead for Clinton is not a good result for Trump. Had the result been a 6% Clinton lead there would be a reason for Trump’s campaign not to be disheartened, but 12% is not encouraging.
