A man is on trial for shooting dead a wanted child rapist who wandered onto his property and later admitted to having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Full Title: Man, 46, who 'killed a wanted child rapist in an act of vigilante justice' could be jailed for 20 YEARS as his trial gets underway
Comment: It doesn't sound like vigilante justice. The way the story unfolds, it sounds like self defense. This guy, Carlson, worked with the police and three times the police failed to capture the rapist, Acosta-Sanchez. Then when Carlson is bringing Acosta-Sanchezt in himself, the rapist charges Carlson who shot him in the head with a shotgun. Now Carlson is on trial for murder.
