I think he will throw down the gauntlet at some point, but I think he will try to do so at the right time. I think he trusts his instincts here, and I will trust that he is doing just that.
The “jail” quip on Sunday and then the zinger at Ryan in the last day or so are not bluffs.
The actual electorate has many more independents and independents are favoring Trump by at least 15 percentage points—so there’s another few percentage points bias against Trump from that.

NBC was exposed by Wikileaks for fixing polls for Hillary and on air NBC personalities have been named as Democrat shills Howard Fineman Mark Halperin Chris Hayes John King Rachel Maddow and of course Andrea Mitchell so why would anybody but Natie Silver and RCP believe anything that NBC says?
These polls have an effect, if they didn’t, then they wouldn’t go through this trouble!
We have to talk to our friends and families, make sure you talk them off the cliff if they are wavering after Trumps rude comment tape. If they are totally lost, convince them to vote for Stein so they can maintain their ‘principles’.
When I was a low information voter, I thought the media was mostly fair. In 2007 I saw Oprah slobber all over Obama. Later the media would literally attack all of his opponents like rabid dogs and then ask him questions like ‘what is your favorite ice cream?’ ‘Do you like to work out?’ etc.
I was shocked and frightened to see how the media was so one sided and how easily people fell for this! It woke me from my slumber!
Today, even the most low information people MUST be noticing how slanted the media is! Make sure you bring it up, you don’t even have to push Trump, just point out how they are being led like sheep and they will probably figure it out.
This poll not only had a ridiculously low sample size of 500, but all polling was done right after the tape came out and BEFORE the debate... absolute propaganda poll
One purpose of polls like this is to skew the RCP polling average. For some reason, otherwise intelligent accept RCP as gospel truth.

The poll I am using is the Trump rally attendance poll. No matter the venue, Trump fills the seats. Thousands flock to Trump rallies. Once the people stop attending, Trump may have a problem.
Their research and analyzing the second to none. I found them during the Trayvon Martin incident and their description of the black grievance industry was great.
