Ohio Sen. Rob Portman became the latest Republican senator to call on Donald Trump to quit the race.
“While I continue to respect those who still support Donald Trump, I can no longer support him,” Mr. Portman said in a statement. “I continue to believe our country cannot afford a Hillary Clinton presidency. I will be voting for Mike Pence for president.”
Mr. Portman becomes the latest in a flood of Republicans to have abandoned the party’s presidential nominee Saturday, a day after a 2005 recording emerged of Mr. Trump making lewd and degrading comments about women.

Yeah, I’m in Texas (God Bless Texas). My hope is that Texas will push States Rights to the limit and then push some more. Basically, just ignore the federal government and go about our business. The traditional way the Feds have kept states in line is by threatening to with hold funds. However, Texas is a net payer. Maybe we could counter by stating to the Feds “if you with hold money we will with hold money”? Let’s see what happens....

Voting for Pence for president is a joke. You can't vote for Pence without voting for Trump, and vice versa.
Sadly, Trump supporters must hold their nose and vote for Portman. Because a President Trump without a Republican Congress is a losing proposition!

I was just barely old enough to vote when I voted for Reagan to
be the President. I argued down the people who were listening
to the evil Demwits and believing all the nasty things the
left said about Ronnie and even Nancy. A viler pit of stupid
vipers I had never seen, and I was proud of the Reagans and
the great job President Reagan did during his 8-year tenure.
Since I don't vote in more than one polling place, as per the law, I am obviously not "voting against these Republican sell-outs." I don't plan on voting for a certain Senator running for re-election, but I don't plan on voting against her either.

On a related note, the gropenator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, has joined the bandwagon of refusing to endorse Trump because Trump made naughty comments about women’s bodies. I guess the Gropenator only thinks its acceptable when HE does it, not other candidates.
Reminds me of when Anthony Weiner apologized to Slick Willie for “embarrassing” him by behaving the same way.
I’d be more concerned about Trump’s bona fides if Ah-nold, the Abominable Austrian Socialist Pervert endorsed him.
