Hillary Clinton announced Friday that she wants to enlist 5 million new volunteers into a national service reserve aimed at 18- to 30-year-olds.
What if we strengthen the culture of service in America? So it wasnt just something we did one day a year, but it became a regular part of our lives, she asked in a Florida rally on the topic of national service Friday.
The former secretary of state argued that her volunteer plan would help combat growing self-segregation in America, where people surround themselves with people who think, talk, look and read the same news as them. That comes with a cost, it magnifies our differences, she said, adding that the election has drawn attention to that trend.

Clinton also wants to expand AmeriCorps, a paid-service organization, from 75,000 members to 250,000, and expand the Peace Corps

“Look! Our flag flies oe’r our noble ranks!
With an iron clank from flank to flank!
We are marching for Hillary
For Freedom and Bread
With the flag of the Youth
That flies overhead!
Yes, our flag in triumph nobly flies!
Yes, our flag is reaching toward the sky!
To the ends of the Earth, and the last of our breath
Yes, the flag means more than death! “
And just think, I only needed to alter one word.
Wow - I’m sure they’re going to jump at the chance to quit playing video games, hop off the sofa and go WORK at something. ILLary shows once again that from her elitist lofty throne looking down at the masses, she is totally out of touch with the reality on the ground.
"Freedom is the most valuable of all human possessions, next after life itself. It is more valuable, in a manner, than even health. No human agency can secure health; but good laws, justly administered, can and do secure freedom. Freedom, indeed, is almost the only thing that law can secure. Law cannot secure equality, nor can it secure prosperity. In the direction of equality, all that law can do is to secure fair play, which is equality of rights but is not equality of conditions. In the direction of prosperity, all that law can do is to keep the road open. That is the Quintessence of Individualism, and it may fairly challenge comparison with that Quintessence of Socialism we have been discussing. Socialism, disguise it how we may, is the negation of Freedom. That it is so, and that it is also a scheme not capable of producing even material comfort in exchange for the abnegations of Freedom, I think the foregoing considerations amply prove." All those basket cases together?
Hey now....
What’s that CIS white male oppressor doing in the Hillary Youth?
Ah, the CCC returns. Another implied commentary on the Obama recovery.
prevailing wage and retirement benefits...... probably automatic enrollment in the SEIU. /SARC
Yup....And you’ll get a degree in “Socialism”.
I saw one of the those Hitler documentaries on the History Channel. Being a member of the Hitler Youth was a great way to get laid. The teenage girls who became pregnant while off at summer Hitler Youth camps were called “Hitler’s Brides”.
Dumbass just lost five million voters.
No, because those are now Union jobs.
He's a trans man whose birth name was "Beverly" but who now calls himself "Adolf". I think I saw him emerging from a rest room at Target...
The Red Guard comes to mind.
I’ll bet those aren’t plain old Halls Mentho-lyptus. Dr. Feelgood’s most likely made something like Chlorpheniramine/hydrocodone into lozenge form for her. She’s probably popping them like candy since hydrocodone’s highly addictive.
Me: “... no delegated power...”
Hillary: “We don’t need no stink in’ Constitution!”
...her volunteer plan would help combat growing self-segregation in America, where people surround themselves with people who think, talk, look and read the same news as them....
In other words, separate people who can and like to communicate about similar lifestyles and interests?
A forced “melting pot.”
Well their mom and dad sure want their basements back.
