This Wednesday’s “Modern Family” will include an openly transgender child actor on TV. In the upcoming episode — entitled “A Stereotypical Day” — parents Cameron “Cam” (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) permit their daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) to have her transgender friend Tom over for a play-date. Both parents are filled with pride that they have done well in raising an accepting and open-minded child. But that pride quickly diminishes when Lily insults her friend, which they use as a teachable moment.
Lily’s playmate Tom will be played by 8-year-old transgender actor Jackson Millarker

Hmm, I was wondering about him. I saw the first season and it was sort of okay especially the scene in the principals office when they all were trying to explain the family. Haven’t watched it since.

I wondered what the male/female ratings spit on this thing, so I looked it up. The article is from 2010. I guess very very few shows draw more men than women in primetime, ‘modern family’ being no exception.
One weird thing is the most primetime shows watched by men are animated comedies. The show most watched by women was something called grey’s anatomy and something called America’s next top model.

I’ve seen it a few times, mostly snippets I half paid attention to.
I remember seeing one whole episode, saw it twice, that always happens, you’ve barely seen a show and they replay the one you saw already.
From what I saw, it’s not terrible, it was fairly well written and acted. But the fag couple is creepy, the weird looking ginger and the big fat sissy. A large % of the story seemed to be queerbo related. And of course the normal heterosexual dad (Al Bundy’s son in law) is a bumbling weirdo and his wife wears the pants.
Crap like this is how gay marriage went from political suicide for a DEMOCRAT (John Kerry in 2004 called it viscous GOP lies when it was suggested he might be for it and a little further back in 2000 CIVIL UNIONS being passed lead to a GOP state House being elected in VERMONT) to “you’re a terrible person if you aren’t for this abomination” in a few short years.

I went straight out of college to work in Hollywood film production (1976). At that time, fully 1/3rd of the employees were fags. No joke here. That includes actors, producers and the like. 10 months later, I walked away from an $80,000 salary because I got sick of dealing with the faggots, and the thieves.. That was serious dough for a 22 year old in 1976, but no regrets either.
