As violence escalated in Charlotte, N.C. Wednesday night, reporters became part of the story as protesters turned on the media.
CNN anchor Don Lemon stopped the broadcast feed as a CNN camera crew was confronted by rioters who attempted to block the camera yelling “F**king liars!”
“As happens in these particular situations, the crowd gets out of control and then they try to assault or at least intimidate our camera people and our news people,” Lemon said.
Fox News reporter Steve Harrigan got into a verbal confrontation with a woman he was interviewing when she accused him of wanting video to “make a f**king fabricated story” about what was going on.

That’s fair. The press’s desire to sensationalize what is at root a very complex and sad and difficult situation is a part of the problem. But on the other hand just because these stories are upsetting to people like me, doesn’t mean they’re not important stories.
It’s been a long time since the press had much decency or self-constraint. (I wasn’t suggesting a government-imposed moratorium; but a situational and common-sense refusal to give antisocial behavior a soapbox.)
So much beautiful redneck country in North Carolina. Don’t know why anyone would want to live in Charlotte.
That the only news we can rely on is from the UK speaks volumes about the “press” in the USA.

It’s totally made me realize racism isn’t something you’re born with or with out, and you don’t have it or not have it, but rather it goes higher and lower over the course of your life depending on events.
I believe that there is a certain percentage of Blacks that already consider ALL WHITES racist. Obama and Hillary always refer to ‘WHITES’ as racist, not separating out the overwhelming number of Whites who are NOT RACIST. But these BLM thugs. Just like the OWS thugs, are just doing the bidding of their Masters in the Dem Party. And those Masters are both Black and White.
