This is how CNN is playing it now. And they have a video of Hillary accusing Trump of racism, saying he owes Obama an apology for not admitting that Obama was born in America.

CNN lying. It wasn’t going away because they talked about it on their shows at night - Lemon in particular. They talked about why Trump wouldn’t address birtherism personally. He did and trolled them in the process.

Trump has not just settled the Obama birthplace question, but has exposed the orgins if the conspiracy while triangulating Hillary into a corner in the issue.

Despite Trump’s statement today (which was brilliant strategery), Obama’s true origins remain a murky mystery. Patriots were smeared with the birther label for daring to question his provenance.
The correct answer to this is:
When I become President I will order a complete investigation of this matter to prove once and for all just where Obama was born and who his parents were.
U.S. citizenship is NOT determined by FOREIGN countries.
It does not matter what citizenship other countries bestow on U.S. citizens.
The United States is the SOLE arbiter of who is a citizen.
Not Indonesia, not Great Britain, not Kenya, not Canada or any other or combination of countries.
It’s common sense, yet people continue to raise U.S. citizenship issues based on what foreign countries do.
The fact that Ted Cruz was, according to Canada, a Canadian citizen, has NOTHING to do with his U.S. citizenship.
U.S citizenship is not determined by CANADA!
Cruz’s problem was that he wasn’t eligible for president because he doesn’t meet the criteria of the additional required status of “natural born citizen” a higher standard.
There still remains the issue of whether his mother had renounced her U.S. citizenship to become a Canadian citizen before and/or at the time of Ted’s birth.
Citizenship is a complicated issue. Most people don’t know much about it.

I see the strategery now, and I must agree. It was very clever.
Just yesterday they were saying the opposite. CNN also said, yesterday, if Trump just said Obama was born in the US, this issue would go away. They knew they were lying when they said that, becuase they knoe that no matter what Trump said, the story was going to be Trump, circa 2014.
CNN is a sitcom, you know.
CNN says that Trump has hurt himself. This has turned the Congressional Black Caucus against him. ROTFL.
Watch the polls. CNN is basically saying Trump is going to fall in the polls.
every time HilLIARy or her trolls try to bring up Obama’s ineligiblity issue, Trump should point out he’s not running against Obama..........and ask back why they’re trying to avoid discussing HilLIARy’s abysmal record, her lies and her corruption in office

My beef with the poster is that they used the phrase, “birther nuts” without having the slightest idea of the history of this place. I took it as an insult to this community.
I was offended. That’s the long and short of it.
