Dear Community,
Welcome to Cleveland Arts and Social Sciences Academy (CASSA). CASSA is a learning community which values high expectations for both academics and behavior. Named the #1 community school in Ohio for value-added, parents and community members are invited to support our belief that all children can learn as we seek to make a difference in the lives of our students.
The teachers and staff at CASSA are committed to providing a quality education for all students in a safe, secure, and nurturing learning environment. We are committed to ensuring that each child reaches his/her full potential.
Currently, CASSA has a student population of approximately 330 students in grades K-8. CASSA is staffed with 13 certified members of the teaching staff and 10 classified/support staff. In addition to core academic subjects, students have the benefit of weekly art, dance, and physical education, classes. Special services available to students include: special education, literacy support, speech language therapy, and counseling. School hours are 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
We encourage all parents/guardians to maintain regular communications with their child’s teachers and be actively involved in the elementary school community. Checking the school calendar, website, and our Facebook page for events and activities will help keep you informed.
