The Obama administration released draft rules Wednesday that would govern how school districts allocate billions of Title I dollars meant to educate poor children, one of Capitol Hill’s most hotly contested education issues since Congress passed a new federal education law late last year.
The debate has pitted the Education Department and its allies in the civil rights movement, who say they are trying to ensure that children in high-poverty schools get the federal aid they are due, against a wide range of opponents — including Republicans, teachers unions and district and state education leaders — who have accused the Obama administration of overreaching its authority and threatening to introduce chaos into district budgets and classrooms nationwide.
The new draft rules released Wednesday reflect changes that the Education Department incorporated after its initial proposal received a barrage of criticism, but it’s clear that the changes have not addressed all of those complaints.
Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate education committee, said the administration’s proposed rule would unlawfully regulate nearly all of a district’s state and local spending and would upend collective bargaining agreements between teachers unions and districts...

Rife with corruption and misuse of fed and state funds. All by administrators hired through *affirmative action* programs.
Few have been convicted....they all skate ....while the kids at the end of this food chain go without. Such is life in a large urban city.
I’ve always thought mandatory audits of individual school budgets/expendatures.
It’s kind of amazing to me, that Obama really thinks that his influence is going to last beyond his short time as a “president”.

I think the US has come to a point where no one really gives a massatooshits about what “The Obama Administration” is doing. imho I think people are looking to the future w/o him & his odious companions

Once Trump is President and the outflow of illegals no longer receiving welfare through their children begins, we can evaluate what we really need at that point.

No authority for this will be found in the US Constitution.
I don’t recall education in the constitution.
Control the thought PROCESSES of a child and you control a nation.

Well I suppose he is banking on Hillary getting elected and then he will have her continue his work.
Just because he is gone doesn’t mean most of his policy will be gone as well that would take an act of Congress I think and you know how that is going they did all of his bidding both sides.

For any who may have forgotten that was a huge pile of other people’s money intended to help enhance education in the Chicago area. Bill Ayers, that guy who just happened to live of Barry Boy’s street, hand picked Obama to help run it.
They then proceeded to piss off over a hundred million and, because they were “progressive” and funded all sorts of crap besides the basics, somehow managed to achieve nothing much for it all. Bupkis.
Now, pissing off so much charity money and failing would hurt some folks prospects but with the DNC it is apparently resume material!

HOMESCHOOL-—get a group of like-minded parents together and tutor your children like EVERYONE DID until that ‘mandatory’ Prussian system to destroy children’s minds (get them removed from their true teachers/the family) to create non-thinking, mass-indoctrinated cogs in the wheel.
Critical Thinking ONLY comes from Classical Christian Education—from KNOWING REAL HISTORY and having HUMAN INTERACTION with REAL ROLE MODELS (loving mother/father/siblings).
The children get only irrational Darwinism/Marxist garbage taught as “True” while they demean the ONLY Worldview which created the Age of Reason and Modern Science (Free Will—thinking OUTSIDE the State allowed BOX).....The skools only embed irrational ideology to create the proper emotions into children—so they KNOW Satanism is Good and Christianity is Evil. (That will FEEL “natural” to them, as will sodomy and vice).
Without Virtue, there is no Freedom possible (Socrates/The Founders). Virtue is habituated and learned in the loving FAMILY UNIT and NOT in artificial institutions which dehumanize the children and destroy individualism for “socialism/collectivism” so thinking outside the box will be IMPOSSIBLE.

What I want to see in Trump’s first days in office, is his striking down of most of what Obama has done while in office.
Just neuter the guy! He didn’t do squat for us. He was trying to destroy us.
His name should be erased from the record books by rights. Instead, he needs to be pegged for exactly who he was as president so we never repeat this disaster again.
