Watching NBC news on the coverage of Trump's trip to Mexico. So they focused on the Mexican President's comment that he told Trump he would not pay for the wall, and they ended the coverage saying, (words to this effect) "but that differs from what Donald Trump said today".
So I looked up what Trump said today; Did I miss something? Here's what he said:
“We did discus the wall. We didn’t discuss payment of the wall"

Viewers just change channels to hear a clearer feed. No wonder cnn ratings going down. Self inflicted.

The media is trying to peel off conservative supporters by portraying Trump as going soft on immigration. I saw Trump last night. He is not going soft on immigration. All the media can do is lie. They can’t win on the facts.
Total agitprop. Trump is on fire tonight. “Softening”??? Ridiculous.
They were where they belong, on the outside.

Now, this is going to almost sound like a crazy conspiracy theory, but from a guy who’s spent over a decade working in media, allow me to explain what is going on...
Forget what the media is saying right now, and focus on how much free air time The Donald is getting.
It’s been non-stop all Trump all day. And yes, they’ve been hammering hard.
So let’s think about this: if he’s so awful, then why give him so much air time when is been throwing strikes across the political plate for the last two weeks?
Answer: Trump’s major ads buys . You see, now that THE NEXT PRESIDENT has opened his wallet, the media whores may be commie traitors, but they still like the smell of money, and that’s the bottom line.
Yes, the newsroom will scream and holler that they should be independent of the sales room, but sales will counter with ‘Who/what signs your f-ing paychecks?’
Let’s add something more to this: We’ve all heard the rumors about the health of the Hilldabeast. If it’s true, it wouldn’t be hard for the media to find out. They can hide it all they want, but if a person is, well... so ill that they may not even make it to inauguration (if she wins), there’s no sense backing that dead horse anyway. But they can’t tell you that yet, because the Clinton camp is still burning through all that cash...
... and the media’s account’s receivable departments are just loving it ; playing both sides for the bottom line - like they always do.

As to two pays for the wall, it’s the same response I yelled through my car radio at Mark Levin today regarding his saying trump is softening on immigration and now is at the same place Cruz was:
None of the others, esp Cruz, had any real intention of one, beating Hillary, and two, doing anything but TPPing and amnestying once in office.
Hers the immediate response- Trump is not thinking “ oh geese, the media still doesn’t approve? They don’t like me. They’re lying... Oh what can I do next to get them to be nice”
No. Trump is simply not playing to the media. Mexicos president invited trump. I doubt he did so because of trump’s media poll numbers. If that were the case he’d have invited her too
Trump knows, Mexico knows and the media knows. And the medias not happy

Trump scares the media. They can’t bully him like the spineless RINOs in the GOPe. They are used to people like McLame and Romney and “I’m Bob Dole” and all the rest of the pussys they can bully and know they will back down.

If some future government made it legal to shoot media hacks who had made it a habit of lying cheating and stealing to get leftists candidates elected. Sort of like the Phillipines President is now doing with drug dealers.
I would literally spend my last days hunting down and shooting them. Of course there are a few who are honest like Walter Williams etc. but the truly evil ones, I would have no hesitation in killing as they are traitors to our country.
