Something strange is going on in Ohio. There don't seem to be any bumper stickers. I drive almost 100 miles a day on a major four-lane highway in northern Ohio. In the last two weeks, I saw one Trump bumper sticker in the parking lot of a grocery store, one Trump window-cling on a pickup truck on the highway, and one "I heart Hillary" bumper sticker at a rest stop. That's it. Four years ago, in August 2012, Romney and Obama bumper stickers were plentiful. It's a similar story with yard signs. A handful of Trump signs sprouted up during the primary rarely more than one or two per small town, and often none at all. I have yet to see a Hillary sign. Last week, as the media piled on Trump following the Democrat convention, I'd had enough, and I pasted a "Trump, Make America Great Again" and a "Never Hillary" bumper sticker (from the Rush Limbaugh website) on my 2002 SUV. Maybe I was also inspired by a classic rock station that reminded this elderly boomer of how it felt to be "Born to Be Wild." My 18-year-old self would have been contemptuous of giving in to fear. I hadn't really been worried about getting my car vandalized, but I was worried about social ostracism by the Democrats in my neighborhood. p>

Ohhhh, here in L.A. You see Hillary stickers. I see about one a day. I see them and know - the person inside is an idiot and has a vagina.
So, to add to this on a personal level, I’ve had a Trump-Make America Great Again bumper sticker on my truck for over a year now. Since then, I’ve driven just under 14,000 miles in my home state of Georgia as well as South Carolina and Florida.
I have not had any negative experiences. I’ve had quite a few “honks” and many “covert” thumbs-up, though.
Adding to this, last week a friend flew to Nashville via Atlanta from Savannah. He wore his “Trump” t-shirt. He is in no way a physically intimidating person. He told me that he was astounded by sheer number of positive, albeit low-key, comments made at all points of his round trip. He had zero negative reactions. Furthermore, he was given an upgrade in his flight seating and a free upgrade from the rental car agency-—because he had the BALLS to wear a Trump shirt.
We are many and can make a difference.
Start showing your support NOW for Trump and do it openly.
Do not let fear hold you back.
In parting, I will say this. If I see anyone who supports Trump getting hassled or worse, I will come to your aid.
Count on it.
Go Trump!
The obvious ploy is to grab a bunch of Trump stickers and place them on prius cars.
I have a “Have you thanked a soldier today” on a license plate holder. My car got keyed and it cost $3300 to repair. I m in California
“spineless spuds”..... Yep!
same in highlands county, Fla (that means Florida)!
No Mr. Trump bumper stickers available...????
conspiracy?
coincidence?
bumps in da road?
Dick G @ Planet WTF!
keep Smilin’
;(
If Dem supporters had to work instead of laying idly about you could use bumper stickers; the fact is that there are millions of them with nothing but time on their hands who would damage the vehicle. As a white guy I have to pay for my stuff and theirs; I can’t afford avoidable car repairs.
Saw one Bernie sticker on a car yesterday. It is already so old and faded you’d think he had run in 2008.
My truck wears only cryptic stuff these days.
So, the actual $$$ cost of (((possibly))) having your car vandalized (again...possibly) is way more than the cost of Hillary as president?
Do the math.
I had my car keyed in 2000. It had a Bush bumper sticker. I ain’t no coward. I don’t want to deal with the expense. Folks on our side are not criminals. For us, there are rules. For their side, no rules.
Don’t see too many stickers in general these days (except for those ridiculous “Co-Exist” bumper stickers).
Yard signs are a different story. In Western PA and Ohio I see a lot of Trump signs. Hillary not so much.
My boyfriend was in Ohio yesterday at a farm auction. He ran into an old guy with a Trump hat on and started chatting. The guy says he has his vast farm property dotted with Trump signs—and not the standard size, mind you—4 X 6 FOOT humongous signs. Says his neighbors are a little annoyed, LOL!
Few like Hillary! enough to have her bumper sticker on her car.
Few feel secure enough in the present environment to have a Trump bumper sticker. I certainly would not put one on my car - I live waaaay too close (30 miles) to an Urban area, work close to it, and drive through it occasionally.
Its not a free speech environment. People do not want their cars keyed and/or dented.
Bernie stickers came old and faded. Like Bernie.
I was told that If i give some money, a bumper sticker was forth coming.
Guess it was lost in the mail
I saw a faded Bernie sticker last weekend, too. Oddly, I also saw two Rubio stickers. I’m actually seeing more stickers for the failed candidates than for the nominees.
Who cares?
The Seattlunatics were big Bernouts. They haven’t embraced the hell that is Hellery - yet.
I have a Trump bumper sticker on my car and have seen several Trump stickers around my town/state.
I haven’t seen ONE Illary sticker. I do see a few Bernie stickers, especially when I’m around the Austin, TX area.
So far, no vandalization....other than...when in Houston, recently, someone stuck their tiny museum sticker on my Trump sticker (in a liberal area of town). They were nice about it, though...they folded their nickel sized sticker in half, so only a sliver of it would stick to my (YUGE) Trump sticker :)
