Something strange is going on in Ohio. There don't seem to be any bumper stickers. I drive almost 100 miles a day on a major four-lane highway in northern Ohio. In the last two weeks, I saw one Trump bumper sticker in the parking lot of a grocery store, one Trump window-cling on a pickup truck on the highway, and one "I heart Hillary" bumper sticker at a rest stop. That's it. Four years ago, in August 2012, Romney and Obama bumper stickers were plentiful. It's a similar story with yard signs. A handful of Trump signs sprouted up during the primary – rarely more than one or two per small town, and often none at all. I have yet to see a Hillary sign. Last week, as the media piled on Trump following the Democrat convention, I'd had enough, and I pasted a "Trump, Make America Great Again" and a "Never Hillary" bumper sticker (from the Rush Limbaugh website) on my 2002 SUV. Maybe I was also inspired by a classic rock station that reminded this elderly boomer of how it felt to be "Born to Be Wild." My 18-year-old self would have been contemptuous of giving in to fear. I hadn't really been worried about getting my car vandalized, but I was worried about social ostracism by the Democrats in my neighborhood. p>

This time around things are different. You can get your car vandalized or your home firebombed if you carry Trump signs around.
As for Hillary, who wants to be associated with that stiff that can’t walk up a short flight of stairs or tell the truth about anything?
Most of the ones I see are “Hillary for....Prison”.
A Trump Sticker can get your car vandalized—or lead to a physical assault. You are wise not to put one on your far. We live in a climate of fear.

That’s a BRILLIANT idea. The story would more likely be though, that the cars were vandalized by putting Trump bumper stickers on them.
Put Trump bumper sticker’s on known liberals.
Mild oppression. But it won’t stay mild if Hillary gets to pack the courts. There will be brutal oppression of speech and religion.
I don’t put a bumper sticker on, because I am afraid someone will damage my car.

I surely hope you are correct. It appears to me America is in dire straights.
Driving around the same areas for the last 39 years, I have seen plenty of stickers for Ralph Nader, Kerry / Edwards, & much worse. I saw exactly one sticker for Phil Gramm, 3 stating "Dole for pineapple not for president," one for Dope / Hemp (amusing), & one (on a truck) for McCain.
Not surprising, since almost every driver, passenger, & pedestrian here thinks she is a vegetable. Green madness.
Aside from avoiding vandalism, no one wants her shiny new Tesla to get smoodgies on the bumper from the sticky glue.
The weather is pleasant here > half the year, but I'd rather be diving. I've had more intelligent conversations with fish than I've had with local residents.

IMO the bumper sticker has gone out of style over the years. I very seldom see one
of any kind on a auto. I don’t have any on my vehicles and haven’t had for many years.
Go to your local GOP office, and get about a dozen Trump stickers and go to the Teamsters cars and put them on there, and watch them freak out as their buddies destroy their cars.
I’m really tired of the threats from the left. The hysterical hatred of anything on the right. It’s sickening that people are too afraid to express their freedom of speech without violent retribution from leftist thugs.
