Hillary Clinton spoke to a crowd in Kissimee, just south of Orlando. She was supposed to be talking jobs, but started the speech off paying tribute to those affected by the Pulse Nightclub shooting.
"I know how many people, families, loved ones, and friends are still grieving, and we will be with you as you rebuild your lives."
WPTV happened to notice the man, who has a mustache and was wearing a red hat, behind Secretary Clinton. That's Seddique Mateen.
We asked Mateen what he was thinking about when Clinton spoke about the Orlando incident.
"We've been cooperating with the federal government, and that's about it," he said. "Thank you." Mateen didn't want to answer any other questions, but just hours later, we ran into him by chance at a rest stop on the way back to West Palm Beach. He wanted to do an interview and show us a sign he made for Clinton.
"Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions," he said.

Terrorists for Clinton.... Just wow.
a Jihadist papa comes to see Hillary Clinton speak..like his Jihadi son didnt tell him of his plans in advance..I wonder if Papa Mateen is proud of what his son did..
Wonder how all the gay loving folks in Hollywood, i.e. the Trump bashers on Bravo, feel about Hillary fraternizing with the parent of such murderous trash?
How the heck does he get put behind the candidate in camera view the whole time? Isn’t that where the VIPs are supposed to go?
Someone is going to have some explaining to do....
I am just creeped out by that.

I like it. Hillary hates these cans.
These cans are defective!!!
dfw: “No, we have a defective......”
This guy taught his son radicalism. Trump could draw attention to this. This guy is a defender of the Taiwan and radical. Disgusting.
He loves the Taliban. Liars will be fans of liars.
They link David Duke to Trump. This is more damaging as Hillary will support the radical agenda.
Taiwan=Taliban
The one question not asked by reporter: “Where is your daughter-in-law?”
In a strange way, I take this as more evidence that the father supported his son. It is obvious that muslims would support Hillary. However, a rational muslim whose son murdered 49 Americans SHOULD think it would be good to stay away from Hillary, so as to not hurt her campaign. Just as criminals like to return to the scene of the crime, the dad shows up.
Seddique Mateen, father and teacher of murderers acceptable to the DNC and White Mosque.
Exactly. How would they let him that close? The guy is very involved, just by being the father of the shooter, of the worst terrorist act on US soil since 9/11. Did someone let him to sabotage Hillary’s campaign, or are they dunces?
We also don’t know what became of the Marathon Bomber’s wife either, who lived with him in a small apartment filled with bombs...
I saw one report that 171 people showed up at this rally. With a crowd that small, it is easy to determine who shows up at the rally.
Had someone of this guy’s notoriety shown up at a Trump rally, no one would ever know.
Up front and close too. Probably was cleared by the Clinton campaign.
This really stinks. There’s a connection somewhere with these murders and Obama. Now the father of the killer shows up in the front and close up at a Clinton rally.
My guess is the crowds are kept small at Clinton’s rallies deliberately because of her health issues.
As of before 7:30 AM, the only news outlets that have covered this are all local. These are the other two in addition to the link:
