There could be no way after last night I’d be willing to support him for any further office.

Cruz is borderline insane, it’s obvious he intends to stay in the spotlight till November. And his claim that it would be such a violation of principal to endorse Trump is preposterous.
There are reasons his campaign collapsed.
As for principal, they keep saying on tv this is because Trump called his wife ugly (he didn’t) but that is not a high principal.

I cannot imagine any circumstances under which Cruz would ever receive another dime from the RNC/NRSC for any level of political office. Without substantial funding he will starve financially and simply be unable to compete. He’s done.
