Had problems with the online tv with the home computer. Using my iPad instead for the Pence speech. Noticed that the problems got started with the Cruz speech.
I like Mike, too!
Mike impressed me tonight. i hope and pray he is as good a man as i felt he was tonight.
To my mind, the money line of the night, after weasel Paul Ryan introduced Pence without even mentioning Trump, was when Pence complimented Trump by saying, “You can’t fake good kids.”
And no you can’t. Just the opposite. Each of Trump’s adult children gave sterling performances this week as each in turn spoke to the Conventioneers, as straight, honorable, upstanding people.
I had never heard Pence speak before..heck truth is I didnt know who he was til Trump picked him but WOW what a humble, great man I can see why Trump picked him..loves America, God Bless him he will make a great VP
Pence hit a home run. We are blessed to have Trump and Pence.
Pence’s whole speech was plagiarized.
He stole the whole thing from...himself.
This is basically the same speech he gave Saturday.

As a bonus, presumptive VP Pence also strongly resembles (as others here have noticed) my favorite character from my favorite Saturday morning cartoon ‘Johnny Quest’:

Poor Pence. He wasn’t my pick, but my goodness, F. Chuck Todd was right when he said that he shouldn’t have been put on the same night as Cruz. All the coverage is about Cruz.
CNN had a focus group with undecided Republicans Independents. No one there said they would be more likely to support Cruz after what he did. Unfortunately, not one person thought Pence made them more likely to vote for Trump. They liked Pence, though. They came away like him more. They just didn’t think he did anything to help Trump. He didn’t hurt him. He just left their feelings neutral.
I thought Pence did a good job. Newt came out after Cruz and gave a good speech. I wonder if someone who is an attack dog like Newt or Christie (who was fuming when interviewed by CNN and went after Cruz) coming out could have garnered more attention. I don’t know. Pence is just a humble, more soft spoken, nice guy.
