Gov. John Kasich has been notably absent from the main events at the Republican National Convention being held in his home state of Ohio this week, and on Tuesday he took a thinly-veiled swipe at the presumptive nominee.
Kasich seemed to offer a rebuttal of Donald Trump's campaign, rejecting what he called a "stew" of nationalism, isolationism, and anti-trade sentiments.
"What does that stew look like? What does that mean for the world? What does it mean for stability, for peace, for relationships? I'm very concerned about it," the Ohio governor said during an address for the International Republican Institute.
The remarks at the event came only a day after the Trump campaign lashed out at Kasich for his refusal to play a big role in the convention in his backyard.

cRuz/Levin/Cuccinelli/Lee/KaSick have ALL joined the Dark Side. Sith lords.
Sniveling crybaby loser. The convention is in the state he governs, and he acts like a baby.
At least you & your porcine siblings don’t eat pizza with a fork.

Yeah, go suck up to your buddy Hillary.
And isn’t the Chandra Levy case being re-opened? Makes one wonder....
Trump needs to include a few words to the effect:
“One of the reasons that Republicans are looked up with such disdain is that they often make promises that they have no intention to keep. PEOPLE EXPECT BETTER out of our politicians. For example if a politician promises to ‘secure the border’ and them votes against a fence, then our entire party suffers. If a Republican doesn’t want a secure border, then he should make his case to the party and run on that platform, as a number of my opponents did during the primaries. Another example is SIGNING A PLEDGE. A signed pledge should be treated as a contract and no politician that breaks a signed pledge should ever be supported again.”
John K. needs to invite the foreign minister of Detroitistan to lunch.... pulled pork on the menu.
Are you telling me his dad was a mailman? /s
What it translates into is millions of more jobs at middle class wage levels. I would much rather make $60/hour and pay $100 for a pair of leather shoes than make $15/hour in 2 part time jobs and buy $20 gym shoes which look cheap.
Kasich needs to realize that he is a Republican and support the presumptive nominee.
Kasich needs to be unemployed.
If he’s not supporting Trump, then he’s OK with Clinton winning. That officially makes him a POS.

That’s right!
And, the same goes for all of these CruzLosers.
Please, everyone.
The press is writing bylines about non-existent controversies and inventing friction.
Let’s be a lot deeper than these “inch deep and mile wide” intellectual hacks.
Go away, has-been.
Nailed it...
Yes he does...
