In a surprising turn of events, climate change doomsayers have turned their attention to cattle, as environmentalists have been compelled to acknowledge that livestock emissions are more dangerous for the environment than automobiles.
A recent article at EcoWatch says that greenhouse gas emissions from livestock actually account for a higher percentage of total global emissions than the worlds 1.2 billion automobiles.
Whereas the transportation sector accounts for only some 14 percent of global emissions, cows produce a remarkable 14.5 to 18 percent of the global total, the article confesses.

I thought as much.
Does this mean they are going to want to ban cows now? /sarc
They already tried doing that. And no /sarc either.
I am more “climate aware” than you are (I say to them, with a smile on my face since they are FORCED to take me seriously since they are INCAPABLE of understanding the hoax nature of the GW hoax).
And BTW, it turns out that according to the hoax calculus of hoax GW theory, GMO foods are more climate friendly than regular food. And no, I have no idea why, just remember it being posted here in FR recently.
Cows have that much power, huh.
Why no concern about whale farts, otter farts, etc.?
Now consider the fact that horses produce pollution all the time not just when they are in use.
Now tell me why we did not have horrible climate changes that wiped out the earth before now.
I don’t know. The hoax calculus of hoax AGW is extremely complex.
The algore will gladly decipher it for you... for a VERY BIG fee.
Although you’ll have to pay the fee in advance and there’s no guarantee of when he can actually get back to you.
In the meantime, welcome you to buy all the carbon credits you can afford.
Re: post #23, nice link WMarshal, thanks!
While not being an expert on Jesse James nor William Bonney, I have read the most accurate two of many books regarding Wyatt Earp and his history. They are:
Wyatt Earp: The Life Behind the Legend (Tefertiller).
Inventing Inventing Wyatt Earp: His Life and Many Legends (Barra).
With few discrepancies and opinion, they both sustain the Earps as the good guys - contrary to the pro-Clanton (liberal) take and many books trying to prove the Earps as the aggressors. Yes, there were political factions even in a mining town. Both books have footnotes marked for reference which includes actual court documents and deposed witnesses.
Yes, I read documents. Wish the USSC liberal court justices did so with the Constitution and the Amendments.
“In that sense, the closed loop system has become open loop.”
Maybe. But cows don’t have anything to do with it. Neither do rain forests.
Every mature ecosystem is carbon stable.
There are only two parts of the ecosystem that sequester carbon - oceanic algae, as it drops to the depths, and humans, as they cut down trees and put into places where it won’t rot. (I.e., building homes and landfills).
I just looked it up......
the max bison population is set at 30 million so the stat doesn’t make the point.
unless it can be postulated that being wild and large, the bison methane production is 4 x that of cattle
Leprechauns vs. Unicorns.
All the words from the Climate Change Scammers have been shown to be 100% false over and over and over and over ad nauseam
To the best of my ability! :)
Then just about documentary has lied.
Well, of course you are right if you take the time for plant decay to become oil deposits. We are in agreement.
Its just that the plant cycle is a one year cycle, and we should be able to burn wood to heat our cabins and camps.
BTW, I do not believe that CO2 is going to change the climate either. The concentration in the past has been higher and CO2 is plant food.
Do I support renewable energy? Yes, if a company can make a profit with it — without the govt subsidies. So I support Nuclear power first and solar and wind as intermittent sources.
Here is the page where I found it:

I wonder how many buffalos there was when they roamed free compared to how many cows there is today.
Has this passed the smell test?
-——An estimated 20 to 30 million bison once dominated the North American landscape from the Appalachians to the Rockies, from the Gulf Coast to Alaska. -——

I thought what you did and went to get a number
You better watch out for termites because they have a microbe in their gut that converts wood into sugar/starch.
Most of the coal on earth was created during the carboniferous period, long before there were humans.
There are different theories. The lignin theory is that early plants were all small because their branches weren't strong enough to grow large. But they evolved and developed lignin which is strong and flexible, which allowed plant to grow to great size.
And the microbes and other critters that decayed the wood didn't know how to break down lignin. So all these trees growing wouldn't decompose and it took a million years for the microbes to evolve so that they could breakdown the lignin. Trees would grow and fall over and over and over and the accumulated weight and getting covered by earth would compress them into peat, lignite, bitimunous, anthracite, depending on time, temperature, and pressure.
Coal can also be made from peat growing in bogs. The coal in the Powder River basin in Wyoming is peat bog coal.
Bully for you. Complain to documentations.

No one knows how many buffalo there were in the US before the Europeans arrived, though 60 million has been mentioned.

Not to mention Deer, Elk, Moose, cats, Bear and other farting critters.
