This year’s RNC may be a grand old segregated party.
Republican National Convention organizers are scrambling to replace signs labeling a bank of elevators the “white elevators.”
The Jim Crow-esque signs were seen in Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena, where thousands of Republican delegates, politicians and supporters are expected to formally nominate bombastic businessman Donald Trump as their party’s presidential pick this week.

So, what was this? A prank? Or did they use different colors (e.g., red, white, blue) to clarify which elevators to use to get to specific seating areas e.g., delegates, donors, spectators, media, etc.)?

Then hospital at Fort Riley had white trash cans outside...and being the army, somebody had dutifully stencilled ‘Trash’ on them. I always chuckled at the ‘white trash’ cans...maybe I should have been offended.

Many buildings color code elevators and doors to distinguish their proper use.
Are you upset about there being white zones for loading and unloading but no stopping in the red zones?
since people are color blond (more men than women) they then have to put up signs or paint words like (white) because people don’t always recognize the color. I like 1-2-3-4- and o on.
Perhaps, but that sign was clearly put up by the RNC because it matches the motif of the rest of the convention.
