It was bad enough when Purdue University recently called in student Joshua Nash for a required Administrative Meeting to discuss his controversial (and personal) Facebook posts.
It got even worse when they notified him that, due to his comment Black Lives Matter is trash because they do not really care about black lives, he could face disciplinary action up to and including expulsion. (Purdue has since backed off.)
Nash has also gotten a lot of heat from fellow students, reportedly including death threats.
Now, the student body vice-president at the University of Houston is facing a similar situation.
Rohini Sethi put up a post on her Facebook account last Thursday which read Forget #BlackLivesMatter; more like #AllLivesMatter. As you might expect, this did not go over very well.
The hastag #removerohini took off as angry students took to social media to express their displeasure and to call for Sethis removal from student government.

It’s an Alice-in-Wonderland upside down world if “All Lives Matter” is racist and “Black Lives Matter” isn’t.
So suggesting that non-black lives may be as valuable as black lives is now considered "controversial."
All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others!
The Black Shirts are coming.
BHO is the father, LL is the mother, and HRC could be the midwife.
None dare call it Bolshevism.
The new Red Guards. Mao would have been proud.
And here we thought that universities actually believed in diverse views and cerebral conversations and debates........they are all leftist cookie cutters these days. No wonder so many companies find it worthwhile to hire foreign help.
Great observation.
This type of threat and action is one of the reasons the left is largely in control and we conservatives are losers. The left IMMEDIATELY goes after a persons livelihood. Look at the number of people fired over the years for UN-PC statements.
They are openly squelching free speech (that normal people wouldn’t even consider offensive); they aren’t even covert about it anymore.
‘Pure democracy is mob rule’ - we’ve heard this many times and now they’re proving it.
You are witnessing an ongoing conquest. Do you honestly expect the victors to respect the vanquished? Do you really expect the victors to consider the vanquished their equals?
The Leftist coalition consists of three groups with different agendas:
1. Hipster college kids and the like, who are the useful idiots who actually believe their tripe about "equality."
2. Radicalized racial minorities, who use "equality" rhetoric as a tool to achieve supremacy over whites.
3. White elites, who know that the reality of racial agitation is 2 rather than 1, but who cynically hope that radicalized minorities will take all of their anger out on working and middle class whites while leaving the white elites alone for the sake of hand-outs and enabling. So far, this strategy has been working for white Democrats.
They are not normal. Normal is the newest N word.
I know; I use that word more often now...
It is 1984. The first amendment is dead in many venues. The thought police are going after anybody who does not conform.
What do we have to counter this? Nothing.
"So Far" being the key words. Basically, they're feeding the alligator in hopes of getting eaten last.
IMO, reality is that they'll be first in line, if/when the gloves come off. If for the sake of convenience and opportunity, if nothing else.
They can start with Mark Zuckerberg. Can't you picture him shrieking "But...but...I wore a hoodie and supported Trayvon" when a bunch of feral black youths loot his house and kick him to a pulp, or "But...but...I gave millions to support immigration reform" if a bunch of East LA cholos knock his teeth out and steal his car?
