Don’t bite your tongue off just yet! Tuesday’s less than a week away. :-)

Turned out I didn’t need to water the flowers in the beds last night. The ground was still moist enough to hold them another day or two and rain was predicted for today. Looks like we’re going to get a good dose in a couple of minutes. Yay!

We had a nice rainfall today, gentle it was, however it did not last long. We need a gentle rain that will last all day and night. Temp here today is 80.

We had a brief heavy rain, then a gentle light rain for about an hour. Only .3 of an inch in the rain gauge but every little bit helps. A day-long gentle rain would do us a heap of good to get the water table back up.

At least it’s cooled off now from the sauna it was before the rain arrived. Only around 75 now -— cooler outside than it is in the house!
