The mayor of Paris this week issued a stern warning to Amazon over its express delivery service, raising concerns over its impact on local businesses and criticizing the US company for informing authorities "only a few days" before it launched. In a press release published Sunday, the office of Mayor Anne Hidalgo called on Amazon to guarantee that its Prime Now delivery service will not add to the city's pollution problems and that it will preserve the "diversity" of Paris' economy.

You may NOT! offer superior service and price. How will less competent people compete?
We must have a tariff....
“And another thing — we want all books to be reproduced by monks with quill pens! People need jobs, you know!”
These are the same people who argue FOR the efficiencies of the globalized EU.

Maybe she should worry more about this The French Muslims set 940 cars on fire to ring in 2015 Most of the car fires are in Paris.

McDonald’s is American and capitalist. Two things to hate.

He was shocked to see that, instead of modern tractors and earth movers, the workers had shovels. He asked why there were so few machines. The government bureaucrat explained: You dont understand. This is a jobs program. To which Milton replied: Oh, I thought you were trying to build a canal. If its jobs you want, then you should give these workers spoons, not shovels.
They are very good, but one item took 5 days and another is taking a month!! They offered me 6 bucks off pantry to let it take that long instead of the two days.
