Former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is joining CNN as a political commentator, according to a source familiar with the arrangement. It's a salaried position and will make Lewandowski exclusive to CNN, effective immediately. Trump fired Lewandowski on Monday, ending the tenure of the fiery operative who faced a steady string of controversies while guiding Trump's skeleton campaign operation to a shocking victory in the 2016 Republican presidential primary. That same afternoon, his first in-studio interview was with CNN's Dana Bash (an NBC News reporter caught up with him outside of Lewandowski's apartment as he headed down to the studio). Developing...

a good thing
CNN , it’s where losers go to die
I suppose it’s too much to ask CNN to get rid of their sore loser Cruzer chatters who constantly snipe at Trump. They really are irrelevant now that the primaries are over.
OMG! I literally told my Mom yesterday that I bet he ends up on CNN as a Trump supporter on the panel!
Hmmmmmm
CNN has them on for a strategic purpose, the worst offenders being Tara Setmayer and Ana Navarro. They do that to reinforce the division in the Republican Party and fuel the Never Trump movement. Also, they feel it’s one thing to have criticism of Trump from the left, but they feel it does more damage when a Republican is hitting Trump.
daggers coming soon
He can say hi to Mandy....
I’d take a $few-million bucks a year gig blathering on CNN if someone offered it to me, too. Take their damn money.
Hey, it could be worse. MSNBC.
Ana Navarro is a La Raza Republican. Totally useless. I took a peak on twitter and she is VERY popular with DEMOCRATS. No suprise. Ha ha.
What it means is he is not working for Trump or the RNC.
A bit more on it here:

Sounds like he will be all Trump. Smart move for CNN ratings wise...take some more of Fox’s viewers.
Huh? Didn’t CNN say he beat up that woman?
But is that good or bad?
Trump fired him so de facto he is not working for Trump. I have no way of knowing whether he remains loyal to Trump or is now an enemy of Trump. Trump supporters aren’t making up their minds paying attention to CNN.
He could just be parlaying his former position into a gig. I’m in no rush to hold that against him, he’s just capitalizing on something he had for a period of time. I don’t fault him for that. There’s this network called CNN, they need to fill up their schedule with drivel about this that or the other thing. To them, maybe this is a piece of balancing out their admittedly super biased view.
They will try to turn him against Trump. Bet on it.
The female hosts act as though Corey committed assault against Fields. They don't say he did it, because outright saying that is potentially defamatory.
