I’m voting for Donald Trump, so I went to see him speak. Protesters broke my nose.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Last Thursday, I left work about 5 p.m. and drove to the San Jose Convention Center to hear Donald Trump speak.

I’ve been voting for conservative candidates for 15 years and a registered Republican since 2015. Now that the general election is underway, I believe Trump is the best candidate to fix our country’s many problems, and I believe he’s going to be the next commander in chief. So I was excited to hear him, and to show my support. Walking into the rally with a friend, I was a little wary: Trump’s speech to the California Republican convention in Burlingame had been disrupted by protesters, and I wasn’t sure whether to expect a similar scene in San Jose. But we got to the event early, and we must have been inside already by the time a crowd of protesters gathered in the streets near the convention center.

The speech really got me energized. I got a new sense of appreciation and respect for Trump after a Bernie Sanders supporter interrupted him with a sign. Trump didn’t blink: “Darling, there’s no way he can win, but keep your sign high,” he said. That is the president that I want. It was great being around so many Republicans — in the Bay Area, we don’t have a lot of that, so it was great to feel the camaraderie of being part of the GOP.

My trouble began once the rally was over.

“I’m a gay Hispanic who’s a Republican.”

The GOP has a big tent, but geez...

They are Useful Idiots.

Not this fellow, but as another poster said, when a homosexual, hispanic, conservative appears, the cognitive dissonance it invites in their tyrannical pea-brains is so unbearable to them that they cannot control themselves and resort to violence.

And people better get off the “Leave California/Massachusetts/OtherLibState because it is a lost cause” because liberalism is a corrosive, invasive cancer, and even conservative states like Georgia have politicians like Cynthia McKinney, and states like Texas have cities like Austin.

The cancer isn’t going to stop at a state line.

Sounds like a hate crime to me.

Juan should file a civil rights action against the perpetrators (should be identifiable on the video) AND the City.

Reading the comments under the article shows the mentality of the left. Most of the comments state that he deserved to be beat up because he went to a Trump rally.

Sick society we live in now.

Everyone that goes to Trump rallies needs to carry pepper spray, and if touched, spray the f*** out of them.

Such is the way of all fascist totalitarians.

Either the national military takes them out, or another one does.

Here are the money quotes from the story:

“The garage where we had parked our car was right next to the building, but police were directing everyone around the block to another garage entrance instead....And suddenly there were protestors everywhere...they were yelling “F__k Trump!” ...they were going up and grabbing people, sucker-punching people...”

Police herded people into an ambush?!?!

The illegal border crossers are victims of a caste system of racism themselves. It is my belief that these victims of racism adopt the same racism as their oppressive society. It is in their blood. The culturally white Americans represent the light skinned Spanish descendants who oppress the Mexican “indigenous,” or “dark” caste.

Their mindset is flooding into the America and they will not integrate into the melting pot like immigrants have done before. It is ingrained into their culture. They will form culturally like neighborhoods who are racially bigoted to the white majority. The Democrats know this, and know it makes it easier to work them for their benefit when they are located in condensed areas. In my humble opinion.

This stems from spineless Republican twits like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. All liberals are cowardly but violent totalitarians.

And they smell weakness.

Nah...thugs broke your nose...the VAST majority of these idiots have no idea of who Trump is, nor do they care. They are hired dissidents and are usually worthless pieces of human debris.....Protestors are supposed to protest.....carry signs, sing stupid songs, chant inane 3 or 4 word meaningless sentences ......once they revert to violence...they are done, throw their worthless asses in jail, and get on with things.

Some of them started grabbing Trump supporters — they were going up and slugging people, sucker-punching people, just picking random people out.

I hope this does not happen to me, for the sake of the mother of the son of a bitch who first gets close enough to me to punch me. And no I’m not talking tough, I’ve been alone and surrounded and out numbered 4 to 1 more than once.

“...These NAZI Bastards...”

And that is exactly who and what they are. So now that we have identified who and what the opposition is, will we cower behind big government and local law enforcement to protect us as the German/European Jews did, which led to unfathomable pain, depravation, devastation and ultimately their death? Or will we grow a collective set of balls and fight back?

Christ said to turn the other cheek, which I believe was a metaphor. But even if he meant it literally, be did not intend it as a blanket statement that encompasses speaking opening and honestly, or most importantly, to be silent while your heathen adversary stifles your God given right to free speech, self-expression, self-determination and religious liberty.

It’s long past time for us to stand against the rising tide of new age NAZIs and fascists.

Arm yourselves.

I know San Jose.

The police herded these people into danger under orders, and then refused to protect them from any assault, but watched them for any reprisal that could be held against them.

The urban police are not our friend.

Chiefs of Police are notoriously leftist. The street officers are political pawns.

I have ties with River Oaks.......no, I’m not the one of the super rich and I wouldn’t be able to afford a toothpick to the Trump shindig, but I think HPD will do their jobs to keep the peace. Houston in the past hasn’t allowed riots....but allow peaceful protests. It was condoned by the Chief of Police since retired and I think the staff will continue his policies. He said you can peacefully protest but you will not loot, destroy or cause mayhem.....you will be arrested.

I don’t think you’ll see this in Houston GingisK. Their policies are pretty much etched in stone......you can peacefully protest but you won’t riot, loot or destroy or you WILL BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED.

That’s because the police were called off by their Leftist mayor and their Leftist chief.

The lesson, made so clear by both Lenin and Stalin, is that the best way to silence dissent is with violence leveled against dissenters.
